Oh i didnt mean that manual mode. I meant the other one...you know the dial next to a/a mode, auto turn, ground moving and a/a head on buttons are. Theres a dial there that you can set to different modes that allow you to fire certain weapons if some systems fail like shkval or gun gets stuck or you lose navigation etc

Some times it disappear for me during normal stable straight flight

Could i have put weapon select in manual mode and fire vikhrs or will vikhrs not work once laser is burnt out?

It should just be in dcs settings under ka50. I just did that a week ago and it worked fine.

Hi guys quick question. Today my laser stopped working and my vikhrs just fell to the ground when i fired them. Was this coz i burnt my laser out? And if yes...was there anything i coulda done to complete the mission with still using vikhrs? Or are vikhrs useless once laser is burnt out?

Hi guys say you are in hover mode with altitude mode on hovering behind trees and buildings trying to shoot tanks on on the ground. What is the best way to slide left and right to get into a slightly new position? Is it hold the trim down and push joystick left or right and release trim when settled in new position? Is it better to use flight director mode for these slight adjustments? thanks

Hi guys in VR, my hmcs reticle is far too high. Its like above my forhead and i have to look down just to be able to use it. Its not right. I need it at eye level or just above. Is there a way to move it down abit?

hi guys, quick question. On the Abris Map...how do i get the grid turned on (you know on f10 map...you see the grid numbers and letters such as kf03 etc as an example) I saw someone on youtube using abris and they had these grids on their abris map but I dont have it. Thanks in advance

There is a laser reset designator button left of the joystick on front panel. I heard someone say you can use that to cool the laser. I see. Okay thanks a bunch

Hi all, i've been flying the f16 mostly on dcs for a couple of years solely with an ocassional flight in huey and hind. I got the bs3 today and OMG. its sooo fun. This by far beats any helicopter experience iv ever had on dcs. its exactly what I like. Modern technology with ease of flight. Im loving hiding behind stuff and picking off targets. Theres a lot to learn it seems with abris. How cool is the ebrs(i think thats what its called) feature on the abris. I use it to put a point on where enemies r and use it to stay 6-7km away. So cooool. anyone know any other tips and tricks I can use?

How do you switch laser off? Is it the left panel button? Or is there a faster way like deselecting the target on the shkval?

Hi guys, I am new to the hind and I recently tried using the gun scope in front seat. So I can command petrovich with heading/alt/speed which is fine. However Im having some issues with firing weapons from within the scope. So below is what I am doing: 1. activate scope (look through it) 2. Observe on 3. I try to look around with the mouse. There is a pause of about 5 seconds before it lets me look around with the mouse. (is this normal) 4. When I observe...i get the firing tone straight away and I can launch the weapon. However as soon as I move the scope around to look at a target, the tone stops and I cant fire the weapon. Please help on the 2 red issues above. Thank you in advance. Also, I am doing this VR. I am not getting the red help arrow in the gun sight which shows you centre.

Update. Jtac is working wonderfully and am enjoying it very much. Cant believe iv bren flying dcs for 2 years and only just got into using jtac
