Do u cold start or hot start? Coz on cold start it doesnt align properly. If i align it on ground...take off and go kill some targets i do not get the C to fire. Air alignment works great but its annoying coz u have to circle around wasting time etc and some times u cant find a target to lock on for alignment. Also during poor visibility its a nightmare. I wish ground alignment would go back to how it used to be. I used to be able to look at a tower atc window and do it. Now even if i align it on a target opposit end of runway it wont work. I hate air alignment.

Ok because 5 bombs hit when I had it in my tgp view and one missed (i turned away fully) heading home and tgp went blank. Soo was just wondering what happened

What did you do. Can you clarify or provide a track? It's a known issue mentioned many times before and you've even taken note of it. Ground alignment DOES NOT work any more.

Hi guys, Quick question. From how far can the tgp in f16 locate the laser from a reaper MQ9? I press uncage at around 20 miles and it doesn't so just want to know the exact thing. Also, is clouds a thing when working with jtac? lastly, once i have searced the laser...can I drop my laser guided bomb and head home...or do I need to keep it in my tgp until target is destroyed? Im assuming I can head home since the bomb is following the reapers laser? Any clarification on the above would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

ground alignment hasn;t worked for me for months

Okay thanks. When u say vicinity....i just type in the mgrs and drop the bomb when I get ccrp drop que... Also U know the reaper its not giving elevation. This is a big issue coz if I want to use tgp its not possible. Is there a way around this.

Cool. So if reaper is giving me 1655. Change it to 1655 before start up do i need to do anything else or just drop it like a normal ccrp drop

Hi guys, So I was in an online server and first time using Reaper MQ for MGRS coordinates..He gives them automatically at random times which is fine. I enter them in strp 21. He doesn't give elevation however which is annoying. I then enter it all and hit convert. It creates. He says hes laseing on 1655...i enter 1655 for tgp and lst by going to list and lase option. But he don't lase when I drop the bomb? Theres no Reaper option in the f10 comms menu either. Please help what im doing wrong. I want it to hit the target with him lasing.

oh is it? Also in real life...if the waypoint is set to 12,000 ft etc...would pilots fly those pre planned altitudes? in this mission the WP 1,2,3 are 12,000 ft. WP 4 is around 600 ft so I dive down WP 5 is 8000 feet so I pop up just a few miles before reaching. Is that how it would be done in real life? Follow the altitudes of the wp's? Also, my TGP goes stupid whenever I switch from WP5 to 6 and doesn't look at the target...and wont let me slew the spi

I'm having the same issue. I get shot down as soon as I climb to 8000 at WP 5. Also my targeting pod goes lame when I switch from WP 5 to WP 6.

Ground boresighting doesnt work for me. Air boresighting from 4-6 miles out works best. I miss ground realigning

Just to update you. I turned off my router and restarted it and dcs sems to be working okay now.

Thanks guys so do i not need to press tms up on the fcr then. Just get the crosshair on the gmt square then make the tgp soi and look around?
