Hi Leute, ich habe es geschafft.... pünktlich zu den DCS Steam Angeboten..... muss mir direkt FC3, A-10C und BS2 beschaffen..... Es war sehr schwierig alles einzustellen. Gab einige Tücken die mich hätten leicht aufgeben lassen können. Meinem erstellten Thread im Englischen Bereich des Forums war ich ebenso eine Antwort schuldig wie auch hier: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1992685&postcount=9 Besten dank an die Leute, die hier gepostet haben! Falls jemand auch Schwierigkeiten haben sollte, sofort melden ich helfe euch! Jetzt erstmal den ganzen Spass nachdem Kauf runterladen.....

Ok had some success finally...... oh my god... Use that road everyone => 1.) Install HOTAS Cougar drivers (watch out for 32-Bit or 64-Bit) 2.) Calibrate HOTAS Cougar inside HOTAS CCP tool 3.) Download Thrustmaster T.A.R.G.E.T. 4.) Download this beautiful profile http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116454 (Flaming Cliffs 3 which is for the free Su-25T in DCS World too) 5.) Open "Target Script Editor.exe" 6.) Open the downloaded profile 7.) Edit the profile for your needs (easy 0 or 1 story) 8.) Click on Compile and/or Run 9.) Verify HOTAS CCP that Emulation is off! (RED) 10.) Start DCS World 11.) Go to Options and Controls 12.) Load up keyboard-ingame-FC3-profile and for the HOTAS buttons the joystick-ingame-FC3-profile.... and add Modifiers (readme, Joystick Button 30-32) 13.) Do that for every aircraft in controls.... Read the manual which was provided within the profile.... good lord I finally did it. And now the actual steam sale is up....... perfect time..... Hi, bin nun was vorwärts gekommen. Neu installiert (mal wieder) und sichergestellt das alles gelöscht wird. Scheint schon mal alles normal zu funktionieren ausser: Meine Rudder Achse funktioniert in DCS nicht, im HOTAS CCP aber schon. Per Target lässt sich das Rudder auch nicht ansprechen, es wird aber dort angezeigt. Man man man...

Hallo zusammen, habe bereits hier vor ca 10 Monaten im Input und Output gepostet und keiner konnte helfen seitdem helfen. Vor diesem Post, hatte ich eine 2 Jährige Pause exakt wegen diesem Einstellungswahnsinn meines HOTAS Cougar. Ich kenne es so: ein tolles Profile in den Stick laden, Layout ausdrucken und loslegen und bei DCS kriege ich NICHTS hin. Gibt es ein profile welches man für alle Fliegertypen in FC3 verwenden kann oder braucht man mehrere? Ich kapier das alles nicht, komme (aber nur hier in DCS!) absolut nicht weiter. Ich habe: - HOTAS Cougar mit TM Rudder - TrackIR 4 Pro - DCS World - HOTAS CCP, Target, Foxy Meine Probleme: - Axis Tuning zeigt das Achsen funktionieren (ausser Rudder, wobei Rudder im CCP funktioniert, habe alles kalibriert. Wieder etwas was mich überfordert...), im Cockpit der SU-25T funktioniert nichts, nicht mal die Tastatur, ausser die ESC Taste. - Habe die Konfiguration im Ordner Benutzer/.../DCS gelöscht und ab und an mal direkt den ganzen Ordner: Problem besteht, nichts funktioniert (ausser die ESC Taste.) - Welches Profile eignet sich als Allrounder für FC3? Wo lade ich das Profile in den Stick? Foxy, Target und/oder ein *.lua profile innerhalb der Optionen? Ich krieg das alles nicht hin. Das ist so ein durcheinander bin hier richtig am verzweifeln! FC3 würde ich liebendgerne kaufen.... nur so macht das absolut keinen Sinn. Der DCS World Updater braucht Stunden um ein Update zu laden, wenn nicht sogar einen Tag.... es scheint eine Art Totalverweigerungs-Fluch zu sein. Bitte um Hilfe....

I would prefer using a profile instead of messing with every aircraft type around.... (when I buy FC3 but that isnt the case now. Nothing works, cant do anything inside the sim, no keys working at all. EDIT: Reinstalled everything, now it seems to work. But DCS World ignores my rudder, Target just shows my rudder in the Device Analyzer, but no sign of the axis. HOTAS CCP instead shows that my rudder is working. Inside a Target-profile, my gameport thrustmaster rudder (connected to the Cougar) the value has a 1. Whats wrong?

Hello its me again.... still the same problem. with no solution since almost a year...... HOTAS Cougar emulation on/off?.... Foxy or TARGET? How does Target work.... I was able to start something which I could stop.....? Any nice complete profiles? What the hell should I just do? In addition: No controls seems to work, nothing except of the ESC key. I deleted the folder under c:\user\username\DCS\... and nothing seems to happen, same issue. Deinstalled and installed again (which took 10 years to download). This simulator just don't wants me as a customer... What am I supposed to do? Uploading profiles in the HOTAS? Loading up profiles inside DCS? I start to get exhausted again. This issue is a reason not to buy anything. It doesn't feel like I could setup my controls to have some joy.... That controller MAYHEM is driving me NUTS since the last time I posted here. I could really really really need some step by step help! This whole mess develops into some scientific rocket-science madness...... Damn, am I really that stupid? It's already a challenge to make a normal FREE FLIGHT instead of beeing pro like in various other sims, Falcon BMS for example... EDIT: Axis Tune shows that my controls work... except for my thrustmaster rudder... I calibrated it in HOTAS CCP and it seem to work normally...

Hello guys, just asking if there is going to be a nice deal on the shop again.... me and a friend got a new powerful computer, was a spontanic decision while drinking some beers and it's quite a pain that we spotted the deals and well.... missed them, we were just 2 days too late............ :( FC3, A-10C, Blackshark 2 (update)... pretty big sum..... :cry: We are really sad and angry to have missed it.

Hope I will fly today ;) Well... the first Problems: How do I use "shift" Buttons on my HOTAS? Oh man... :( I can lock a target but not unlock it? I can choose between AG and AA but no NAV in middle Position?

Hello guys, since many hours.... I'm trying to setup everything as good as I can but nothing works like described and I'm mentally exhausted, because the longer I'm trying to get it to run... the more I don't get how that all is supposed to work. I have a HOTAS Cougar, TrackIR 4 pro and the SU-25T which came with DCS World with the FC2 Viper profile and I can't do stuff like...... target Designator (locking) doesn't work, unable to switch to Air-to-Ground mode, microstick works as mouse outside DCS World, no roll, X and Y in TrackIR though all axes are set up.... readme's with more steps inside the simulator's settings which messes up my brain completely. I remember once having exact the same annoying problems, a reason I made a 2 year pause before. I just want to fly and see the SU-25T in action, want to play this campaign badly but.... I can't! And I'm interested in FC3... but with all the messed up profile-proceedures and problems, I already get unconscious while downloading the profile into my stick through foxy because of what is going to follow..... Please... can someone help me?

As it is with many things out there, old school guys must have some real good patience-ability regarding everything complex while the market gets overflooded with arcade. Nobody hearing, nobody seeing, nobody caring but everyone destroying many game series with mainstream bs. Waiting for like 6-14 years for something nice to come out is not nice so I will mention what misses especially since over a decade everytime I can. It's my holy duty that great things will not be forgotten in times of the arcade half-brained mess. ;) As a "missing dynamic campaign" doesn't count as an achievement, I think it rather is. In the end of this year, it will be 14 years! The Falcon 4.0 dev's deserved a statue.

Yeah but the greatest thing is still missing since 12th December 1998: A dynamic campaign for a complex combat flight simulator.

Before learning how to do the stuff you want to learn, you will have to start learning the basics first. It's all about energy and I think, many don't even know a thing about it.

Hi Ethereal, I know that simulating stuff is not only about graphics. I'm just no fan of all the hardware madness I was observing since 3Dfx... buying expensive hardware just to go full speed in lets say 20-30% of the time (when playing games, flying simulators) till you buy another computer. It's like buying a Ferrari for city driving and for driving on highways with no speed limit just 2 times a week till you have to buy another because isn't able to drive faster than 400km/h and the government prohibites all cars below 400km/h. (lets precict that it is like that). ;) Since you can't just easily but another motor in (lets predict again...) ... you have to buy every component again =| I hope we don't need another room at home in 40 years just for a computer.

It's funny sometimes that people (like me and others I know), who are able to fly FSX on Ultra with every slider maxed (Graphics, Traffic, Buildings, Trees, dozens of Extrem Graphic/Scenery enhancement and high detailed realistic Plane mods etc.) have great fps but choppy fps in Blackshark with just 1/5 of the graphic which FSX delivers. Sometimes you can really get tired with all the endless new graphic effects and hardware releases and hours of tuning AND XXX of wasted money as a hardcore simmer.... The way I achieved high fps in FSX is thanks due to someone who converted the textures to another format. Question is... why Microsoft didn't made it directly that way. I remember how unpleasant the flying experience was right after FSX was released.

My opinion: Please, stop using trendy-inet-kiddy-terms like "troll" which almost every forum-guy is using... emberassing!

F-15, F-16, F-18... give me (and other folks) a break. SU-27, MIG-29, Tornado (with 2-seater online support), Harrier (VSTOL) etc. => Fresh, interesting, revolutionary.

You got US-hardware in almost every media format, it's starting to get tired. Just watch back and tell me, what planes you were able to fly in the past 15 years. So after a DCS F/A-18, you will want another one after 5 years? And another one after 10 years for the same reasons? Do you even know, how European, Chinese etc. aircrafts cockpit look like? Do you know more Weapons except of the AIM-9, AIM-120, Mavericks etc.? It just feels one-sided. Instead of the F-18... I would be more happier flying a full detailed and realistic MiG-21.

Dude, whether Falcon's DC is realistic or not, it doesn't actually matter. Fact is, its unique since 11 years in a sim. You got the Weapon System named F-16 and you are to use this under different situations. You feel extremly involved in one of the DC's, since everything makes you thinking is actually moving in Korea & Co. . It's not about entertaining as you try to keep F4's DC Image low, it's more a challenge which is changing all the time. I feel like you're trying to let Falcon's DC look smaller than it actually is. It is still (thanks to the modders) the "overall" god in flight simulations.

Why nothing from "the other side"? Russian, Chinese, European... it's like with the movies out there.. And that's why I love DCS Blackshark so much, it's a jewel, it's something unique.

The point is.... there are already many highly detailed US-Hardware sims out there.... it's just a waste to produce another one over and over agian. I'm just tired to hear all the people screaming for always the same shit.

I'm really shocked to see the most guys wanting another F/A-18 even if there are already plenty of highly detailed F/A-18 sims and addons out there. It's just a damn waste..... and this is really stupid and mono. Why not something different? Why does it have always to be the same and the same and the same... it's time for something different than just the same US-Hardware over and over again..... Even if I'm a diehard F-16 guy... it's time for something different!!

To the thread starter. You are wrong! It's just your excitement speaking out of you. You forget something very important what DCS A-10 doesn't make a milestone: A DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN. So the "Overall" king for me is Falcon. Still... after all these many many years there is no competition. And now look... what has happened in the last over 10 years... in politics, science... etc. ... unbelievable. DCS A-10 is comparable to FSX (look out for the new coming addon for the F-18 superbug... checkout simhq.com ) To those who wishes things that you already have plenty of them somewhere else highly detailed: Why not something different?? Why not a full detailed russian fighter? I have enough of US hardware because it's simulated really everywhere.... good lord...

:D haha Yeah maybe my way to express something is a little but rough and not common, but that's how my brain works. :) We don't decide for all people, we just have a fairness way of thinking how all this could be more equal. Why wishing a DCS F-16 while there is Open Falcon 4.7 and (hopefully) soon the new BMS? It's a bit of a waist... Ok :pilotfly:
