  1. Hi there guys, it occures that I loss connection (timed out) due to the only Internet Connection available here…. through LTE =( . Trying to rejoin to continue the mission (he paused and waited for me) but I can't connect to his Server via IP or find it in the list. Is it generally not possible to rejoin a once active server? Is there something we can do reg. server visibility? It's the only obstacle we have. Greetings, Cabal

  4. After all these years of absence... the only Training for FC3 I have is that for the Su-27.... Quick Missions missing especially reg. the F-15C... I remember more of them. What is happening, will this be fixed? I'm confused.
  5. Is this still an issue with FC3? I'm confused about the training being focussed only on the Su-27... did something change after all these years? After reading lots of stuff reg. the missing content my brain became a mess. How do I know what I miss and what not?

  8. Oh ok. My bad, but still: why didn’t they land? 1 wingman crashed, the other one aborting finals and telling me to rejoin all the time. I was concentrating too much in it...

  12. Small but important question: Can I use CTS for the HOTAS Cougar Throttle with a Warthog Stick and a TM ECS Rudder plugged into the Cougar Stick? (Warthog stick 1, Warthog throttle 0) Would this work?
  13. It's oversensitive, this is what I mean by "jumping around". The SMALLEST Input is enough…. the center is too sensitive. Regarding the Hall Sensors: I have a small loose center-Play, how will the hall sensors help me excactly?
  14. Hello guys, I started a SU-33 Campaign which drops me into the lead-position of a 4 ship formation during pure night. My 1st task is to urgently land on a nearby base, rearm and then fight off bandits. My first thought: Ok, I need to land, my wingmen need to land, "roll somewhere" to rearm… and then we all take off. I knew that this will be a mess. So... I told tower that I'm Inbound, requested clearance to land… all ok... BUT then: Wingman AI behaviour - Instead of going around the airbase… they flew insanely near beside me while at finals, almost stalling almost bumping my wing. I found out later that one wingman crashed. - When I landed and... randomly rolled somewhere to halt and rearm… I always got the "Blabla REJOIN" message repeating all the time from number 2. - I switched to my wingman via F2 to see what the heck he is doing…. gears, down, he approaches and then suddenly aborts the landing and goes around… always repeating that he is rejoining and aborting to land…. Any advice? What am I doing wrong? How do get them to land and rearm? Is this done automatically? Where do I taxi and where will my wingmen taxi (if they manage to land)? Will they be rearmed too? After rearm, will they start taxiing to the runway when I request to take off? This mission messed my brain up completely. I knew from the start… AI wingman for such tasks means only one: Problems.   15. The Graphs look ok. It's always the same with DCS... everything is completely jerking around/oversensitive which destroys the fun. Pitching… is like hell.. trimming after every 10km/h... In other sims it feels very smoothly. Anything else I can try out? How can others fly DCS smoothly?
  16. Hello guys, as the title stated…. I tried to find something about what to do and try -> with no luck. I need a certain dead-zone on the center on Y & X axis. The sensitivity at the center is too strong.... I tried playing with the Curvature but no luck. My plane always jerks like a wild bull… trimming seems strangely hard too with the CTS profile.. it's like going up from 1.0 to 2.0 instead of smoothly 1.1, 1.2. This issue kept me away for almost 5 years. Also: The Axis graph.... I would need a X-bar which is 2 times bigger. It feels like DCS demands a longer stick config for precise controls. I used the HOTAS config to put some curvature into it... hoping it will somehow multiply with DCS's Options (2nd curvature). Now I'm completely lost and short of giving up again. This jerkiness is a total horror. What am I doing wrong? Please help me setting this damn thing up. Shall I reset all Settings (HOTAS config tool, DCS axis tunes?) What to do afterwards?   17. Hello guys, thanks everyone for participation in this thread. Let's say, I got to happen 2000 Euro (+/- 200), how do my targets look now? I'm still not that convinced but well... there is no way around one. Still feeling like in a jungle with no visibility. Any recommendations (incl. experience) for laptops around 2000 Euro (+/- 200)? Note: The battery won't matter too much because it will be cabled probably most if not at all times Thank you in advance and for the help! Cabal
  18. Is the GTX 1070 really strong enough for DCS? So the Acer Predator from the link is ok or really/almost "high-end"? Too bad the laptops incl. a 1080 are too damn high.

  20. Hello simmers, well damn... I need some help... mobility will be a factor soon in my life. I never liked laptops, maybe I'm afraid of lots of weaknesses, the price, ...,...,... -> I'm looking for a gaming laptop for around 1k€. I heard, that even high-end non-laptop rigs have problems with DCS, right? Especially with VR. Any recommendations? I'm completely lost in the jungle... there are tradeoffs everywhere. 1,5k€ would be ok too if its worth it (performance etc.) Thanks in advance for helping souls since mine is lost...   21. Oh god Lord!!! Thanks for your answer Home Fries!! :thumbup: I'm reporting that I'm in full control of the SU-27, using it efficiently now. Got my first successes. The Situational Awareness is getting better too. What seems to happen sometimes is, that while trimming and or holding the S3 (shift) the zoom-factor get's messed. It's like you are writing on the Laptop and something else happens because you touched the touchpad unnoticed. Is it my Cougar or am I using unnoticed a zoom-function? Well, I was already thinking about getting the MFD's... too bad they don't work like real. I heard about apps for the iPad in which you can use the shkval or other parts of the instruments. Need to check this. Again, thanks for the effort in answering all my questions... thank you!

  23. Hi there Home Fries, your profiles got me back to sims after 3 years.... Just had not the brain power to fight with the controls but you made a remarkable job with these.. this is really unbelievable. I own a HOTAS Cougar, the Thrustmaster rudder (metal) and a TrackIR. So I got some questions regarding the FC3 Profile (jpg layout): - HAT 3 (DMS): When flying the SU-27, something confused me. HAT 3 (DMS) has no left or right according to the JPG layout? Wasn't able to activate my NAV lights in NAV mode on the ground too.. maybe I missed here something. The next is that I doesn't seem to find the Radar Range Buttons. Don't know where to lower and increase the range. - Hat 4 (CMS): I remember when flying Falcon BMS 4.32, i had the upper for either chaff and flare and the down one for the last of them. I don't quite understand why both ways (up and down) are set for flares. I don't understand the logic as to why the layout states to press the shift for both chaff and flare. - How do I change to A2G in the SU-27? - What does the O mean? For example /(D(for down)O? - I Chose the SU-27 as the Default Profile to load up. Where do I Switch the profiles in order to hear the voice that I have switched an aircraft? Do I have to be in the menues or.. how to accomplish it exactly? Damn... the last 3 years really set me back.. please Support my unflexible brain! These questions arise because I was extremly used to the BMS 4.32 Profile back then... which I still remember. Thanks in advance!
