From what I've seen of it so far it's pretty good, but it's not the one I had. I'm gonna keep looking though. Thanks for pointing it out. -

Someone had a really great A-10 profile, I had it for my XL but when I switched out my main HDD I somehow lost half my files and that profile was one of them. It may still be on that drive but it's an M.2 SSD but I don't have a reader. I've gone through all 9 pages here and didn't spot the right one, any ideas? The profile is about 12-18 months old. -
Left & Right Engine Throttle Set Off are set to buttons 29 & 30. The other item you mentioned about having "Synchronize cockpit controls..." I tried that both ways and it had no effect. When I'm in the sim and go to start the engines I can move my throttle levers back and forth and nothing happens, but all other controls that are powered to that point will work. As soon as I use the keyboard commands to start the right or left engines the throttles on screen will pop to life, even if they are still in OFF position, they will show in the IDLE position in the sim, and I can immediately use that throttle. I will try to repair the file.

Ok, that just made me look stupid. That is not at all what I replied and I do not know why it just added the same message I originally posted. My HOTAS is the Warthog, as you can see from the picture, thats the only thing that did post correctly, there are no commands possibly for the HOTAS throttle any longer for the engine start up. I tried what you suggested, it did not work for what I'm trying to accomplish. I am not stupid, I know what this setup used to do before I updated to the 2.7 whatever, I did not have to use the keyboard to start the engines in the A10C, whether it be real or whatever, I advance the throttle from the off position to idle and the engine started. Now it does not PERIOD Why engine off? That is not my problem, my problem is engine start.

I think I have the same issue...before updating to the new DCS 2.7 I could start an A-10 engine by advancing the throttles from Off to Idle. Now I Have to use the keyboard command, I tried to map it in the options but it says there is no HOTAS options available for this. But I know before the 2.7 update it worked just fine. Is this the same issue? If so how is the fix? Because according to all the calibration tools, the HOTAS is working properly.

What does the UAC have to do with the game size within the monitor? I missed the 10 day window to roll back to Windows 10 so I'll have to figure out what I need to revert my system as the game is unplayable in its current state.

After updating to Windows 11 I tried to update to DCS 2.7. I got an error saying I didn't have enough room in the Download Folder, but there was more than enough room on the C drive itself so I uninstalled and then reinstalled DCS. Now I can not get the DCS game to match my monitor. I originally had the monitor set for 1920x1080 at 150%, which has worked great on a 40" TV. If I set the monitor to 1920x1080 at 100% the game compresses too much and sets itself at a different size and screen resolution. I can go into the game settings and make changes but it has no effect. I've even tried to change the lua file...it said I did not have permission to save the file to that location. I'm thinking about changing back to Windows 10. Any suggestions? My system: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 Core 3.59 GHz, 32 GB Ram, 64 bit. My monitor is a 40" Smart TV. I've had no troubles prior to switching to Win 11 and reinstalling DCS 2.7

Question about the file? I get an error message that says there is no application at path C:\DCSWorld\bin\DCS.exe I don't have anything at that particular path, how do I get the profile to work without going through and rebinding everything on my systems? -
I've done some research on how to actually fly the plane in DCS, I was flying it wrong. I was trying to fly the P-51 like a jet, not like a piston engine plane, I kept destroying engines and couldn't figure out how/why. After learning what the gauges were, where the needles should be, etc... I was able to trim the plane. Basically I was trying to sprint when I should have been crawling. As the line goes in the Army for training "Crawl, Walk, Run"

I've got my Warbird base and just got it mounted on a Monstertech desktop mount finally, but I can't seem to trim the P-51 out, no matter how slow, or fast I go. I have watched videos by several people on the basic flight characteristics, basically keep the needles in the green and don't fly it like a modern jet, you shouldn't have an issue. But I have also seen the same suggestions with the 30% or more curve input. I tried that when I had a desk mount and did not care for how it worked, now I'm looking for suggestions to figure how to trim this plane. I can Almost keep the nose down, but it still wants to fall over to the left.

Apologies Draconus and rwbishUP, this says that I have not read this reply to my post but I did read your reply and had thought I had replied to to your reply. I am only going through it again because I found the the answer to the original problem, but I mucked something else up and am looking to see if someone knows how I can unmuck it. The original issue had to do with the different profile for the plane modules...for example, right now if I fly the A-10C II Real.diff.lua profile I can use the F2 button to step outside the plane and use the mouse to move freely around 360*. But if I fly the A-10C Real.diff.lua, I don't get the movement outside the cockpit with the mouse, and if I fly the SU-25 I have NO controls at all, not even the ESC button works, I have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out of DCS. I know some people are really good at this stuff and would say, well just take this .lua file and put it here, and this one to here and write this file here and there. That's all fine and dandy, but I don't understand that stuff. You know of any help to add the controls back to the defaults? And pushing the "Return Defaults" isn't working.

Here is just the opposite...I think. I accidentally deleted ALL the key binds, including the mouse, and I didn't mean too, I only meant to do them on one category on one aircraft, but it deleted them on all saved profiles on all aircraft. How do I get them back? I have already clicked on the "Reset category to default" but that doesn't work completely. I can't use the mouse to look around outside the aircraft when I use the F2 button. I don't know enough about the game yet to know where to get all the files to refill the files, I'm getting to the point of deleting the entire setup and redownloading a clean new world setup.
