I hope the radios and ATC is gonna be functional in multiplayer. Like if multiple players are all tuned to the tower, they will be able to hear each other's requests for TO/landing over the radio, and the tower will direct people to hold short or whatever if need be. This could also reduce accidents compared to if the airport is just a free-for-all!

I think the way black shark handles startup is perfect. If you decide to start the shark manually while flying online, it works in your favour because its a lot quicker than the cheat and doesn't switch on every single light which you then have to turn off again. Those that want to use the cheat start can do so, but there is an incentive to learn the actual way. I'd be happy for DCS: warthog to handle things the same way.

Are you flying with an X52? I noticed you zoom 'jumps' in and out a little bit due to a noisy axis, my X52 pro does the exact same thing only worse, its so annoying :mad:!

Yeah F/A-18 Hornet and A-10 Attack! (as I have as my picture) were my first sims and some of the best games of all time!! They just don't make them like they used to (except for DCS :)). This was also back in the days when macs where actually good, not just rebranded PCs with a different operating system, a "cool" exterior and a large price tag!

So if i've read correctly the sim is a 4.2 GB download? So is this split up into a bunch of files? How big are they? I ask cause I don't wanna buy a game I then won't be able to download...might have to wait for boxed version...

Not only is my internet not extremely fast but my pc is in the same room I sleep in, so leaving it on to download stuff overnight isn't really an option. Hopefully they release a boxed version and release it fast!!

You could argue why the Ka-50 doesn't have capability for 4 vikhir rails, but then again what about better, integrated avionics; non-crappy laser; RWR & chaff dispenser; FLIR; big radar atop the mast etc? Cost and neccessity come into it in a big way.

The aircraft flies mostly CAS missions, has a pave penny strapped to it, seems like it was basically built to fire laser mavericks using friendly ground designators...

Oh that makes sense, massive bummer though! Love the -83, not too big, not too small...

Will there be Mk 83 bombs available? The Translated russian thing on pg18 of this thread says there'll only be Mk82's and Mk84's...
