Having a difficnullult time getting the correct file in the setup. The serch box will not navigate to the logs folder in savedgames dcsopenbeta folder. Why wont it show the logs folder?

Ok, need some help. Vcom hasn’t worked since the beginning. Had it on the Z drive with DCS wouldnt work. Reinstall in Program File (x86) on the C drive and I’m close. I have everything where I need it. Voice to text excepts the commands it has a purple indicator and yet nothing happens in DCS. I fly the F 18. I have deleted and allowed the Viacom to replace the export file in the Scripps folder. I have all the push to talk’s working and yet nothing happens in DCS. What am I missing? Also I have Viacom redirected to the Z drive open beta folder. Also am running as Adminstrator

@KungFuYou’re not alone. I have had the same exact experience with Viacom. I finally gave up and used Baileys profile straight into VA. Works at about 95%. I’m willing to try Viacom again but someone needs to give us some solid answers. I’m a public speaker and read and pronounciate at a high level. This app became so frustrating I’m ready to ask for my money back. I’ve tried everything I know plus what everyone else I know had told me to but for now it’s going to sit in my junk folder until there are some improvements. It’s not the speech recognition as everything else I use it for works with minimal mistakes. It seems this is a hero or zero app. It either works well or not at all.

I love Chucks manual on the FA-18 as it is in depth. But I find myself now just wanting a straight up checklist without all the explanation and pictures. Does anyone know if there is a checklist for startup/taxi/takeoff/enroute/descent/approach/landing/taxi/shutdown kind of a checklist?

Here was the problem. You cannot start engines by using the throttle quadrant. You have push RSHIFT+HOME for the right engine @20% and RALT+HOME for the left engine. Once the engines are started the throttle quadrant will work just fine. Thanks for the other info.

x52 (NOT PRO) latest drivers and programming software installed. The throttle quadrant (Z Axis) will NOT function in the game. This throttle does NOT have left and right throttle capability. One throttle only. I have tried to set it to the FA-18 Thrust Axis several times to no avail. Will this X52 work with the FA-18 If so what am I doing wrong
