Aigle2 started following DCS World Flight Modelling Principles

Same issue for me and my friends in an MP flight today. TPOD was desync, bomb was falling where the pilot TPOD screen was pointing, not the WSO's

SEPECAT Jaguar A - Looking for modders

not a public one sadly, maybe when it will be more advanced -
EDIT : The 111.10 ILS on 13L isn't working anymore when wind is coming from 145 to 315. It seems, imho, that ILS activation on Al Dhafra was inverted compared to what it should be compared to wind direction. Consequently, currently, you can't use ILS if you use active runway on Al Dhafra. All tests were made using F-15E

Hi, 13L ILS frequency is buggued again. Indeed, here is the table @Flappie created a few years ago about ILS on Persian Gulf map. At Al Dhafra, 13L ILS at 109.1 now activates only when wind is behind, thus runway is closed, rendering it usable. There is no ILS usable anymore on runways 13L and R combined, which is very problematic. I've been reported ILS bugs at Al Dhafra from 2020 and after, and it's still not fixed. We play with our squadron on this base mainly, and we paid each one of us this map more than 40 euros/dollars. It becomes really annoying that at this price, we can't have a proper ILS working after all this time. I'm sure ED is working very hard, but after all this time the frustration is really growing, for such a simple bug... Cheers, Aigle2

Is there a specific reason to jets being hot started? I would find it better for just set them cold, more realistic IMHO. -
SEPECAT Jaguar A - Looking for modders

Hello, quick update : Out of the expected core team of 4 people, we already have 3. We are still looking for a 3d artist to join the project. The goal is for the position to be paid in the long term. Send me a pm if you are interested, bonus point if you are in France or EU. We have a 4 years roadmap from start to finish. Current plans are to try to create an official DCS module if everything goes well, and quality standards are met. A studio will be created if the project goes well enough. More details about the global project, business plan, design philosophy and workflows, will be shared in private. Send me a pm if interested. Even very motivated beginners are accepted, so don't hesitate. As soon as this position is filled, active developement will start, as every other aspect is now ready. Aigle2 -
I would say the opposite in that case. There is nothing to lose in that case. I was talking indeed about new players joining existing groups / virtual squadrons. Such changes would also promote thos gameplay experience I believe. I fully disagree with this statement. In our group, we had cases of completely new players who started by fly by wire aircrafts without basic notions of piloting, it ended up badly. We had to go through trainer course to really make them progress, and it was really useful.

Hello. I wanted to have the opinion of the community on this specific topic. I'm not talking about "combat multicrew planes" like F-14/F-15E/F-4E, or helicopters, only the trainers. I feel like trainer aircraft are a must have to learn DCS to any new player. However, new players often aren't that willng to invest in a full fidelity module which will only be used for their training course, especially when they already have to buy hardware, maps, and "main" modules. Without pilots to form on trainers, even instructors don't have any incentive to buy trainer aircraft for this specific task. My opinion is instructors owning trainer aircrafts should allow other pilots to join them without owning the module. It would IMHO stimulate the incentive to buy those trainer aircraft if you often train beginners, which would over-compensate an hypothetical sale regression if beginners aren't buying the module anymore because not needed. To be clearer, I think that : - It would help the community - Less beginners would buy them - More instructors would buy them, so it might be worthwile even from a business point of view. What are your opinions on the subject guys ? Aigle2
