This fake frames DLSS or FG i dont really like due to many issues at the moment. The only thing i could imagine, and will be helpful maybe, would be exact the other way if you could use it only for the outer two displays for making more FPS in whole. And in the middle you see all real pixels so you don´t miss anything really super important. I have ordered now a MSI GeForce RTX 5080 16G Shadow 3X OC (default board layout) at Amazon for 1169€ in Germany here but it will be first shipped at end of june and probably set it under water to get near the performance to a 4090. But lack of vram is still a problem then... Nvidia is making me really angry with all of its "things" and i do really hope AMD will make some even nicer products in future to finally stop this. If there will be a really price drop for RTX 5090 (what never will be in the next months) i´m looking for one in the meantime and cancel the RTX 5080 again but i am not really happy to give any money to Nvida in general...

Thank you very much LucShep for this detailed explanation! I have already seen this benchmarks and GPU comparisons in simracing too but i don´t believe that it is really comparable with DCS. And i know that you can´t have enough vram for this huge resolutions and Nvidia´s prices are pretty ridiculous for this self-burning cards. You are right that even the Rtx 5080 is heavy overpriced for what you get. Best would be a cheaper 5080 with 32GB but i don´t have the time to wait any longer for something probably never will happen. Hard times for GPU buyers which really need to upgrade... With my super old GTX 1080ti i´m able to get Blackshark 3 running in singleplayer with about 15-18 FPS in 7680x1440 which is really great for this little vram but no really fun anymore. AH-64 is absolutely not playable. Only stuttering with about 1 FPS. It would be great if someone with triple WQHD (or even more of course) could tell some framerates with RX 9070 XT or RTX 5080 GPUs to see how these cards really "perform" in DCS with only 16GB of vram.

I like to get the best performance for my triple monitor setup and do not want to spend such crazy money for "best" fitting RTX 5090 with 32GB vram. So hopefully someone can help me for deciding the best working GPU for this this is crazy resolution. I know that there will not be high FPS possible with both of them i but would be happy if it is at least somehow playable without stutters (if possible). Vram is very needed for this high resolution but there will not be offered more in the near future and i need a GPU now because my old GTX 1080ti is finished. What i don´t want is buying an old AMD rx 7900 xtx (24GB) or used overpriced RTX 4090 (24GB). So please no recommendations.

When will this be fixed? It shkval is still wandering with latest version. Very annoying after such long time... -
"3 Cameras" view - adjustment for non 90 degree setups?
Terrorvogel replied to Hunter_5E's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Can someone using triple screen with nice looking angles 3cameras.lua please upload some example? That would be really awsome! -
Hello, FFB was always turned on in the misc settings and as i said other FFB effects are working without any issues but not all effects as i now know... I have found out the working setting now inside the MOZA Cockpit because you mentioned theat telemetry thingy. So thank you very much for this hint! In MOZA Cockpit Software under "Basic Settings" the Force Feedback Mode in the upper, needs to be on "Integrated FFB" and the trim is working fine now with all of my modules using the DCS settings under "Spezial" -> "without springs and FFB". What is very important when changing parameters inside the MOZA Cockpit Software you should better save them every time and most important when jumping back to DCS World for checking you MUST hit ALT+Enter to get DCS in foreground every time again. If not, force feedback effects like trim are not working anymore which is very confusing then. Best regards, Terrorvogel

Hello, is it only me or is there a huge bug that the force feedback trim is not working anymore in DCS World 2.9.13.6818? In settings "no spring and FFB" is set and "force feedback" is activated. Tried the two other trim settings too... All other force feedback effects are working without any issues so far except the most important helicopter-trim to move the joystick and hold its position for which i bought all this expensive stuff. This makes me really crazy... I additionally tested with Microsoft Sidewinder 2 FFB to see if it is maybe only a MOZA problem but it is not. Same here then... MOZA AB9 Base is updated with latest firmware of course and using activated "telemetry FFB" for DCS World. Is this a known bug and how can this be solved? THX so far Best regards, Terrorvogel

Me too... KA-50 Trim is not working with MOZA AB9. Solution would be very important...

Ok that is interesting news and good to know. Thank you very much for this!

I already selected language under "spezial" and "game" but nothing changes. In very old versions of DCS i remember to copy and overwrite the russian wingmens audios from other "west" module and that was working fine. But now with latest DCS version it seems that something has changed in the internal audio system so this is not possible anymore. I don´t like to play with the russian audio so there must be a way to change this permanently and for single missions too.
-
I already changed these options in the options menu. Abris is already working in english but HUD still is in russian. Thats very annoying.

Hi guys, didn´t played a long time and now i don´t get an english HUD inside this module. I already selected language under "spezial" and "game". Regards, Terrorvogel

7800X3D, 7900X3D, 7950X3D..
Terrorvogel replied to EightyDuce's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It seems that AMD 7950X3D + AMD RX 7900XTX making more FPS in Microsoft Flightsim than AMD 7950X3D + Nvidia RTX 4090 in this spezial CPU-GPU comparison-benchmark (PC Games Hardware 05/23). So probably RX 7900XTX is the much more better choice for DCS World too??? -

No, i can´t test this rams until i have the rest of that rig, sry.

These seem the fastest modules at the moment in this size and this dual ranks are much better for the p1-fps which making VR more happy. We will see in future... Source: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?283666-Figuring-out-G-Skill-s-SNs The first two digits stand for the memory type, DDR3 (03) or DDR4 (04). The meaning of 'L' instead of '0' is unknown. The next three digits probably indicate the JEDEC spec (133 = DDR3-1333, 160 = DDR3-1600, 213 = DDR4-2133, 240 = DDR4-2400, 266 = DDR4-2666). The meaning of the 6th digit is unknown at this point. The 7th digit indicates IC density (4 = 4Gbit, 8 = 8Gbit, S = 16Gbit) and the 8th digit might indicate organization (usually 8 = x8 or 4 = x4). The 9th digit indicates the IC manufacturer (1 = Samsung, 2 = Hynix, 3 = Micron/SpecTek, 4 = Powerchip Semiconductor Corp.) and the 11th digit indicates the die revision (B = B-die etc.). The meaning of the 10 digit is still unknown. Thank you to Mickulty for the first info about the new system. Since the release of DDR5 in 2021 G.Skill is using an adapted version of the one above: Samsung: DDR5: 0M48AXS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die 0M48KRS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die 0R48AXS810B = Samsung 16Gb B-die Hynix DDR5: 0R48KXS820M = Hynix 16Gb M-die 0T56KXS820A = Hynix 16Gb A-die

I´m very slowly building a new rig too with waiting for Zen 4 with V-cache and bought this ram some days ago for a good price with Hynix A-Die: Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30-40-40-96 1.40V 64GB (2x32GB) AMD EXPO G.Skill F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5N Date of Manufacture 2022/11/24 Hynix A-Die seems much better in overclocking than the good M-Dies what i have found out so far. Code Number: 0R56KXS820A (which you can see on the backside sticker of the module that can be seen through a window in package of ram - so no need to open) That 20A at the end of this codenumber means "2" for Hynix and "A" for A-Die. What i have read is that all newer G.Skill rams will have this better A-Dies.
