  1. I think MSIP I jets got AMRAAM support at some point. I know Saudi Eagles had AMRAAM including some given directly from USAFE stock to the Saudi airforce and then never received another upgrade. https://web.archive.org/web/20140526083455/http://www.touchdown-aviation.com/reports/2014/green-shield-157516041575158215901585-1588161016041583-2014.php https://www.runway-fever.nl/galleries/2014-2/green-shield-2014/ https://defence.pk/threads/saudi-and-french-fighters-get-familiar-f-15c-vs-rafale.330385/#post-6092696 F-15C MSIP would probably need AMRAAM to go 3-3 against AESA equipt Rafale. also in the late 90s Japan had a small number of aim-120b for their F-15J which are essentially MSIP I. J-MSIP II wasn’t till the early 2000s.
  2. F-16ADF posted it on F-16.net. I’m not sure were he got it but the format looks like world power journal like the last post said.
  3. DTIC apparently has a IL-78 manual You could send them a FOIA for the following ADB290462 The IL-78
  4. Later production Soviet Fulcrums also had this mode removed. It wasn’t liked or used by pilots for some reason.

  7. It’s probably ECM and IFF which is pretty normal for every export radar.
  8. The reality is the F-16 wasn’t going to do much without support. In Lebanon and the Gulf they were on a very short leash while Eagles handled air superiority. Still given the limitations of the Floggers sensors it wasn’t hard for a Viper to get close and hit it with a sidewinder. Here is a Pakistani F-16A killing a MIG-23MLD it just flew up too.
  9. It’s got a lot of thrust for getting the hell out of dodge when things go bad which is nice for an attack platform.
  10. Pretty decent dumb bomb rocket platform. It’s proven itself pretty able in recent events.
  11. The Eagles did. BVR was kind of a crap shoot at the time with AIM-7F and R23 being pretty limited. AIM-9L and Python 3 getting most of the kills.
  12. Hey North Korea decided to celibate DCS MIG-29 with something we might find interesting
  13. They realistically never got close enough to matter. The one WVR engagement between an Eagle and Fulcrum had the Fulcrum on the defensive the entire time. Far more telling is that inspite of occasional getting detection or locks no Fulcrum ever fired their decidedly not export R27R at a collation aircraft.
  14. Early access list looks pretty good.
  15. Documents rxist, why not?
