That is correct. I would hope that Win XP would be inferred by my Sig.

I think that some of these issues are related to the 32 bit 3GB switch. Mustang's advice is good advice but, he fails to add a condition to the amount of RAM being used up. i.e. value set to allow some free RAM for other programs. I too had the same issues with the system bogging down after a short time flying and would need to reboot to fix the problem. Here is the correct code for the boot.ini as I understand it now from some FSX friends who have used the switch for years. "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional 3GB Switch" /fastdetect /3GB /userva=2560"

Went into MP and saw no servers but, I guess this was because not all were patched yet. Hosted my own server fine.

I'm not quite there yet. I think the next DCS module (DCS F-18C (insert US fixed wing AC)) will finally convert all those still hanging onto F4/FF5/ and OF and become the next benchmark sim.

coordinates in nine line don't make sense (to me)

Most likely you have been entering Lat/Long and not UTM. -
Need some direction on where the control profiles are saved too...
Burner replied to WheelChair's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog
active profiles : "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\A-10C\joystick" Default profiles: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS A-10C\Config\Input\Aircrafts\A-10C\joystick" -

Negatory. You need to enter the "MM" when inputting UTM coordinates into the cdu. They are basically giving you a map grid and the MM is needed to identify where the grid box is located. 6 digit grid gives you are 100X100 meter box. -
Luckily he didn't lock the thread:)

Hang in there. It gets better. -
on the tad page behind the green numbers there are black boxes (background) they constantly flicker and have since B4. Also the messages (white box) always is off to the right side and cannot be seen except for the first letter.
-
turn off HDR and the tearing and flickering goes away for the most part except for flickering on the TAD page.

mic switch up for PTT Ventrilo it works, TS3 it does not.

Never saw "release candidate beta" mentioned anywhere. This release is a full retail release. nothing beta about it according to ED. I agree with you it has more bugs and problems than a beta and cannot wait for some patches and hotfixes.

bcedit is not recognized as an external or internal command but, i do already have an edited BOOT.ini to allow for 3GB RAM on startup.

The solution for me at this point is to set Textures to medium and then I can turn on HDR and everything else to what I want with no problems in MP. Just an issue with my card and high textures in MP it seems.

Tried to run a few single player missions and when spawning there was no player AC. Spawned looking at a SU-25t or a shilka.

I have my graphic options set up the same as Wags less HDR as it gives me a white screen in single player. The Second time I entered an MP session, I was greeted with the typical blue water screen that used to happen in the previous betas. Solution other than lowering the resolutions back to medium again?

Nothing but myself as I strike the back of the ramp. BUT in the Spring EVERYTHING will be locked up and shot at. http://www.vrsimulations.com/tacpack.htm

MP version works flawlessly for me. The SP version, JTAC does not function at all besides a few transmissions with gunfire in the background. No 2 way comms or target marking. -

when you say "paint" do you mean target lasing? -
Hawg hunt mission SP is a great addition to my collection. Any idea of what freqs are used in the flight. In SP I expect radios to work.

There was one floating around for TARGET but, It really messed me up trying to use it. Supposedly it mapped all of the default keys and added a few to the mic switch but, it didn't work well for me. I would just like default controls plus mic switch up for external push to talk key. Waiting on TARGET to get out of RC phase to really dig into that software.
