  1. Hi, I would like to try and use the workaround for this fix. Can somebody please give me instructions to use the fix provided by Buzzline. I'm not a computer coder so I'm confused as to what I'm supposed to do. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi All, Hoping someone can help me out. I have experienced the known bug regarding the completion of missions. I end a mission go to the results screen and the complete mission button doesn't work which does not allow me to go forward in the campaign. My F18 campaigns and F86 campaigns are both affected by the same bug. Before you say Buzzline had a fix for this I'm not a computer coder. I saw his fix and don't have a clue what he is talking about. Is there a fix for this? And how can this be possible? Both F86 campaigns the Yalu and Museum Relic campaigns both affected. Just bought them both, having a blast, now very sad as I can't use either. Thanks in advance!
  3. Just bought the F-86 this week. Constantly trimming as it's climbing and diving, and rolling a bit too! Is this a bug, figure it was just the aircraft LOL. Also the mission completion bug. Is this fixed if anybody knows? It's why I'm here. Bought a bunch of campaigns during the sale and cant play them!!! Thanks
  4. Sorry, re-projection. New tech to me. LOL
  5. Hi, I think they are going to Vulcan, heard that from an insider that that's the upcoming engine change.
  6. Check to see if you are running at 60hz rather than 90hz. I tried setting mine to 60 for performance and I can't even explain what happened, but it sounds like what you are talking about.
  7. Hi, Good post. I have the 3080. Same exact setting minus the motion smoothing which I didn't see working because with the rear projection on auto it was already butter. The WMR on auto basically locked me to 45fps. Are you seeing FPS above 45 with that on auto? I see a lot of people dropping the Res to 50% from the 100% in order to get no stutters, but then I found that you lose the clarity of the gauges and what not that you got the G2 for.
  8. Hey Bryan, Check if you are running at 90hz or 60hz. I have the 3080 and was playing with settings. Tried 60hz and it did something that I cant quite describe, but it sounds like what you are talking about. Buildings and shadows were off, shimmering and almost 3d, but in VR? Hard to explain, but yeah it made me almost barf. My personal settings are 100percent in steam, almost all high, no MSAA though. The key to my best settings was to turn rear projection on WMR to auto. It drops the frame rates to 45, but it's perfect across the board and rock solid. I had micro stuttering even at 85fps averages, but the windows rear projection made everything perfect.
  9. Hi, I set mine to auto, not the forced setting. So it sits at 45, but shows an average of 48 or so. When I'm running at the same settings without it I get 85fps, but micro stuttering when rolling the plane. Don't know why. I thought that maybe it's because the panel wasn't happy to be under the 90hz. I tried setting the panel to 60hz. That made everything really wierd, not sure how to describe it, but not right, the buildings where wierd, maybe it was the shadows? Honestly a strange experience, think one eye might go out of sync? Anyway with the 3080 the auto setting in WMR has been very effective in creating a great visual experience.
  10. Hey, The one in the steam settings doesn't seem to work. The one in windows MR does. I've tried the different settings and auto seems best. My fps is always showing 45fps, but my average is usually ab it higher 48 or so. Not sure why that is, but it sure looks good. If you have the F18(or comparble) set the res at 100 percent and look at the lower computer screens writing. Then change it to 50%, completely blurry almost unreadable. At 50 percent you might as well just use a Rift S because that's exactly where it falls apart and becomes visually limited. My opinion, but I got the G2 so I could have every gauge completely clear and perfect looking.
  11. Thanks for taking the time, see you up there!
  12. If you are seeing FPS above 45 the the rear projection is not actively engaged. I have the 3080, got it a few days ago. I'm actually enjoying the rear projection and I think with the G2 it may give me the best results visually. I've set it to auto in WMR, then cranked my resolutions to the default 100 percent mark at 3000by3000ish(the default), then I can put almost every setting to High, no MSAA, full clutter and trees. It looks fantastic and the rear projection on auto allows for FPS to go above 45 if it can, but will help you FPS if it was going to go below this mark. Otherwise I can turn it off and put the res to the 50 percent mark with the same settings. I've spent hours playing with the settings and this has give me by far the best gauge visuals in cockpit with zero stuttering so far. Only a couple hours on this new setup, but so far it's my best on the 3080.
  13. Hi, Thanks so much for answering. I've been playing with a lot of settings. I've decided my stutters are do to frame time issues. I'm now running at 100% steam resolution with the mixed reality portal rear projection on auto, with most of my settings on DCS pretty cranked, but no MSAA. That drops frame rates to a static 45FPS, but it's practically perfect no jutters, or fps drops. I am still seeing something I'm not sure about though. My frame times have settled in around 13ms to 15(so orange), but my GPU usage on my 3080 sits around 65 percent, sometimes peaking at the low 70's. It's very cool doesn't go above 63. Do you think that should be ramping up higher, and could this be an NVIDIA control panel setting? Thanks in advance, I've tried googling this of course but mostly it's people with 7 year old CPU's wondering why their FPS still sucks and their GPU's are underutilized. Hey also, do you run the shader packs that you can download?
  14. Hi, Looking for help please. I'm experiencing issues with frametimes. I can get 85 to 90 fps with good settings on my G2 with a 3080, but I get a bit of micro stuttering. It looks like its related to my frametimes. When using FPSVR any time my frametimes get into the orange color and start hitting the high teens I see the stuttering. The GPU usage is still under 90% and there is additional headroom indicated as far as VRAM goes. I have lots of CPU power and it's not the issue. I'm looking to keep my settings as is, but improve the frametimes. Thanks in advance!
