  1. I will see if is available. I was playing with the scroll wheel last night for radio freq knobs. Got it to work with out crashing, now need to fix it so I can click and change dials. I was also playing with the buttons and knobs on the abris using saitek fip. Buttons work, sometimes knobs crash (both) sometimes not. I think it is more likely I am setting things up wrong. I am sure I can resolve and we will be able to change radio freq with X52. For those with the fip, I will have something to control abris , soon, no picture/video will be displayed yet. Butt you will have buttons and not have to mouse over. I hope to do the same for the other gauges with test buttons and adjuster knobs. Scoping out a-10 as well. I hope to accomplish the same for the mfds (buttons and knobs.)as well as get x52 to display critical info. Just need more time and learning.
  2. Hey, I got rid of some of the flickering issues. Go to the saitek control panel and reset the mfd brightness . I had it at high , slid it to medium. ran the sim , no change . turned it back to high and now the flickering is such that I can easily read the intended information. Give it a try.. Ymmv.
  3. Karcha, That is awesome!!! Thank you. I had planned on getting around to it eventually , after I figure a few more things out. I actually figured out how I can use the page change callback and putting something together . Also I am testing to see what items gives us values and will interact with the scroll wheels. If you are using a usb hub to attach the joystick, try running off of the main board usb. I was getting smooth number transitions and no flickers but, now for some reason the data lags big time. I still get data 10 minutes after I close dcs. The hub connection gives me flickers. Maybe it is the "every frame " response.
  4. Cool, I realized that some of the values were not correct but wanted to get rid of the uselessness of the screens , share then work on the numbers. Does your mfd flicker a lot? I may have to change a few other things while I am at it. As stated earlier, I am a newbie at programming and I could use all the help available, this project tends to limit my stick time. @ Aaron, when this first got started it was in input output then I moved to this space as I was thinking it was a How to for saitek gear. Though I also agree with where you are coming from, I have finished unpacking from the first thread move and don not feel like moving again ( lazy, I guess)
  5. See if it is in the start menu, Eagle Dynamics folder, module folder then documents. All the modules and their docs can be found under the Eagle dynamics folder.
  6. I am afraid not , the regular x-52 mfd is not programmed to work with the directoutput program. Only the X-52 pro and the flight instrument panels have the capabilities to use directoutput.
  7. Karcha, If you have things set up , you should find that the last lua example posted in this thread has all of those gauges working except the egt gauges, give it a try. ( I was away for awhile and forgot that I had gotten that far.) I had to reinstall everything and for some reason, I can not get the dll to register. I am Back in the wilderness and I am thinking I may need a component from windows update. Internet too expensive for all those gigabytes . Still working on a few ideas. Trying to get at a-10 exports, stay patient a little longer.
  8. Actually those are Damn good points , I spent too much ime focusing on the things that are readily in front of you and not any thought on the things you can's see. Will be rectified. Thanks for the input.
  9. I was thinking , Maybe if there was a request list I could incorporate those ideas into a project( for both a-10 and ka 50). That way people can get what info they need displayed on the x52 pro. I am still working on the Fip end of things, The education required is making it a long process. I have multiple ideas on a system to put set up at your finger tips , just a matter of figuring out how to put it together.
  10. Actually , I was just thinking about that really I was, I says to myself " self, what can we do next ? " Give me a little time and I will flesh out something useful for the A-10. It will take a while as I am still learning the ka 50 ( not much stick time around here.) I will grab stick time and put together some pages for the a-10 an maybe get frequency knobs involved.
  11. For some reason Saiteks rotaries have an issue when trying to use it to zoom. In the control panel mine start jitter unless I have it just right. I have both the x52 pro and the x65 and both jitter at a certain point when I zoom in to a certain point , a little more in or out and it goes away ,a little more in or out and it comes back . Strange behavior.
  12. Still active on this project , Currently time is limited, options are endless , lot's of research going on as well. I hope I find answers soon, I need to get back to learning these sims.( my landing skills suck )
  13. also the twist rudder is available on both models and has a lock switch to eliminate rudder controls if and when you get rudder pedals. Different drivers for each model as the pro has the direct output sdk for the mfd screen.
  14. I have had both the pro and the non pro. They are both very similar , the pro has the mfd which can be used to display info from game ( Working on interface ..http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94174, still a wip) The springs are stiffer, The throttle can be tightened and loosened as desired to reduce the feel of the detents. There are two one for idle and one for afterburner position, not to stiff. I say go for the pro, little more hearty construction.
  15. here is the link to the beginning of the project. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92667

  17. saving x-52's is my job. Just doing my job!!! I am glad I could help.
  18. I realize the first pic was of the usb connection. My apologies.
  19. finally I have the pictures you requested. Green = ucc pink = p23 grey = p22 red = p21 white = p20 black = ground
  20. So , you need pic of connection of the Joystick side? The one I sent was of the throttle. Give me a minute ( at work ) and later this evening I will get fresh pictures of both ends of connections.
  21. Golfsierra, that is a pin out pic of a g940, also the title is that of an x52 not pro. I do understand what your intent was. ReNno. try these. I was looking into taking mine apart for the mfd and buttons , making a new setup with it. ( Have x65)
  22. Just a note to keep everyone updated. It has been awhile since I last posted here . Unfortunately , I have been very busy with real life stuff. I am still trying to get saitek gear up and running , will need time to get back to where i was and move forward.
  23. Which Saitek Items are you referring to???
  24. you guy's are mean !!!!! LOL Too funny.... Leysard, I am not sure if any one can answer your question, as it has been bounced around before and no real answers came forth ( unless I missed it somewhere.) All I can tell you is that ,I was not very happy at being assigned to "fly " the desk in a rear command post after my last promotion. ( just to throw that in there).
  25. I have had the sim since it came out and I am still working on my skills. Though I don't devote a lot of time to it , I am coming around. It is rewarding as you get the hang of it. I have all the modules and the hard time is deciding which one to practice, I tend to favor the black shark though. Keep at it and you will prevail. Any questions just ask here , a lot of cool folks on these boards.
