Hi there, I upgraded my NVMe SSD and used Macrium to copy all files to my new drive and set it up to be the boot drive. Since then I get the following error message every time I double hit the DCS icon: - I tried a full repair and no change. I then uninstalled and downloaded a new install from the ED website, but no change. Following reading a few posts on here, I then uninstalled using Revo, including registry entries and downloaded a new install again, and still the same error message. My old NVMe SSD drive is still installed and I deleted the original DCS file folder from program files in that to be safe. My saved games folder is definitely in the new boot drive (C:\Users\xxxxxxx\Saved Games) as is the clean new install. I do still have a copy of my old saved games folder on the old drive (G:\Users\xxxxxx\saved games), but I can't see why that would make a difference. What can I do to get DCS back working again?

Hi there, 5 of us from our sqn also experienced this last night - the plane was very twitchy most of the flight but refuelling was most challenging. Is this behaviour correct?

I have a similar powered system with i5-9600 and 3080ti, and experience the same in MP with large numbers of AI units. With tacview recording all units, my FPS drops to under 30 and CPU and GP cards are seriously under-untilised. Turn tacview to record local player only and FPS goes up to 100! At the same time CPU and GPU utilisation goes up considerably. Don't know why as I'm using a 1TB NVME M.2 SSD, and 32GB ram. Should be able to handle anything, but something about tacview messes it up completely. I have my windows power settings set at Ultimate Performance...

Hi all, any ideas why why my DED display wouldn't work today? Could not even display DED information on the HUD. Both times in multiplayer on different world maps. Tried the DED display brightness knob - but that shouldn't affect the ability to display in the HUD. First time was in a hot start mission - no display from the start. Second time was cold start, and the DED display was there through the INS alignment, but disappeared as soon as I pressed return on the dobber, and I couldn't see how to get it back. Any ideas welcome...

Yes - changed pagefile after that log and also stopped tacview tracking all units in multiplayer - seems to work but I'll carry on testing

I have a strange problem and am seeking help. Off line I an happily play DCS at reasonable high video settings and get between 80 and 100FPS and my graphics card runs at circa 76 C. This is also true on some multiplayer servers. However on some multiplayer servers my frame rate drops to almost unplayable levels even if I reduce video settings to minimum. At the same time my graphics card is clearly being throttled back as its temp doesn't get above 65 C. I'm using DCS 2.7 open beta on an i5 3600k, z390, GTX1080ti, 32GB, 1TB NVME M.2 system and full G-Sync monitor with head tracking software, SRS, voice attack, kneeboard builder and tac-view all running.

Thanks for that, it was a key mapping issue. Remapped it last night and I have ATC comms now. Thank you for your responses...

F 16c in Caucasus, but had the same issue with P51. I have easy comms set in options. Just nothing happens when I try and transmit with the key strokes. Thanks.

Hi there, I'm relatively new and can't seem to get the radio comms to work. In different places it says either R ALT +\, R CTRL +\, L ALT +\, LCTRL +\ or just \ on its own (this latter seems to be mapped in controls). None work for me. I get the impression that when you transmit with one of the above key combinations a menu should appear and you select a transmission to make. Where am I going wrong? Any help or pointers would be very welcome. Ali
