Hallo, I have a Black Shark 2 and a Black Shark 2 Update license associated to my main account. Is it possible to transfer the Update license to my second account to upgrade it to a full one with my Black Shark 1 Key? Greetings Merlin :huh:

Hi, according to this thread, its not, at least the rendered resolution is not the nativ resolution. But the picture is allways rendered bigger to surpress black corners at the edge if you turn your head before the next picture is rendered. You can see that on the loading screen. The rendering stops but the tracking is still working. If you now start thinking about the roll axis, the pixels of the rendered picture will never match exectly the pixels of the vr headset. Hi, no the hub is not the problem. I have tested it with other hubs and direct connected to the computer. At the moment I think this happens because at least my computer seems to power off all usb devices a few times during the boot process. Maybe the electronics have a problem with short power disconnects und geht into a weird state? This is what happens with differnet configurations: PC: all buttons are pressed or brake axis + button 19 not working ca. 50% of all boots and reboots passive USB hub ob the Logitech G11 Keyboard: the same as pluged directly into the PC powered USB 3.0 hub: the same as pluged directly into the PC funny usb driver errors. I have to reinstall the usb speedport driver again to get it working again. The mainboard is a Asus ROG Strix Z270F Greetings Merlin :)

Thats the first thing I did. That would also not explain why this kind of problem only happens after a reboot. If I unplug the usb plug and put it in again everything works fine again. I mean if the problem is between Stick and base shouldnt it still exist after the usb plug unplug? It may be related to USB Hub but I haven´t tested that out.

Hi, I got mine last week and have now about 12 flight hours. I must say it is way better then the WH. I mean hovering is now much easier and AA refueling with the A10 and the Mirage was no problem. At the moment I´am using the 2 dot cams, light springs and no extension. Spring replacement: is easy but takes some time because you have to remove a lot of screws. Cam replacement: :cry: it is possible but :music_whistling: I had to use sandpaper and a rasp to make them fit. The cams are not of the same quality like the rest of the stick... No idea how that did happen. Getting out the old ones was only possible with a lot of force. I did not remove the circuit board from the housing because that looked like even more pain. I saw no way to replace the cams inside the hausing because I had not the right tools to do it and the ball bearing arm is blocked by the housing so you can not turn ist 90° to access the cam and my hex-wrench was to large to fit between housing and cam. Also no idea how to get the screws in again without damaging the threads if its still inside the hausing. Quality: I think its good for the price. I´am a bit worried about the wiring because the wires are rubbing on a lot of surfaces. For example the wire ob the Stickconnector is put into a heat shrink pipe but not only the upper part so the single wires are rubbing against the bottom plate if you move the stick. M50 Stick: Just great... I like the Buttons. I´am now using it for all planes exept the A10 Interaction with windows: Is not allways working correct. Normaly after a reboot all buttons are pressed or button 19 / brake is pressed and only reconnection will solve the problem. The reccommented software to calibrate the stick is not working correctly on my PC so I had to use the windows calibration but that worked ok. At the moment I´am thinking about removing the rubber ring because it feels strange at max deflection Greetings Merlin

Got mine today and it feels good but I can not see any difference between the 2 dot cams and the 4 dot cams. Which one is supposed to be the flat one? The one at the moment installed (could not see the dots) is curvy in the mittle an flat at the edge. I have allready switched the black to the blue / white springs and it feels better now but the center still feels a bit to stiff.

just to get this right, will the stick look like this in the windows configuration? VPC Base + Warthog grip = 2 axis + 23 Buttons VPC Base + T50 grip = 3 axis + 22 Buttons

My intention was not about increasing the max button count. My intention was how games will react if you change the grip. Wipe the config because the same stick has a differnt axis and button count? Crash? If you have two differnt devices, one for the base and one for the grip, you will not encounter these kind of problems. And if you use a standard usb connector for base and grip it would also be possible to use the grip without the base. How would this kind of "tweaking" look like in DCS if I for example use the T50 grip for the Mirage and the Warthog grip for the A10? P.S. If these kind of questions results in my stick is going to be shipped last.... I have never ask them :music_whistling:

Hallo, I have tryed to find some information about the limitations of the base regarding new grips in the future. I mean is the base limited to the button and axis count of the existing T50 grip or are more buttons and axis possible? Is it possible to split the stick into two different HID devices (Base and Grip)? I mean how will DCS/Windows react if you change the grip and the new one has more or less buttons?

Hiho, I don´t know if it has allready been ask but I find it hard to hit the buttons with the mouse and TrackIR enabled. So it would be great to compensate the head movement and fix the mouse pointer relative to the cockpit and not the screen. Greatings Merlin :huh:
