Are there official statements about working deckcrew implementation?
-
There is still a month left, fingers crossed!
-
-
Iirc that statement was renewed around when the preorder started
-
They aimed for Q2 2025. If they can keep it, we are talking about a few weeks
-
Dont forget that most dcs players spend more time flying on the same few maps than real pilots could do. Especially on the kaukasus map i'd say that you could drop most DCS Players anywhere on the map and within 5 mins they'd know where they are And not everyone uses the F10 map. Its immersion breaking and buggs out shaders/lighting (for some ppl). I try to avoid it at all costs.

And i have yet to regret a pre order
-
That still would take some time then. I hope that the core manual was written in parallel to the module developement and therefore is already nearly finished. At least in terms of the early access systems.
-
Any chance the manual will be posted here some days/weeks in advance of the module release?
-
And what about the avionics amd Radar? The FC4 Fulcrum A will be absolutely inferior to this module. It's not just the clickable cockpit added.

Same could be said about the war of the nations memorial in leipzig. Thats clearly the modern post 2000s one. But i guess that's because they use some assets from their flightsim maps instead of creating period correct ones from scratch. (Leipzig has also no marina near that monument, as shown in the video ) But lets not forget that we talk about a sim which at the end of the day is still some kind of game and not a historical document, so i'm fine with that an am just happy to see my hometown represented in dcs. Germany Cold War Announcement | Steam Spring Sale 2025
Lord_Pyro replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
As an inhabitant of Leipzig, i am very curious how the DCS Version will look like -
How would it attract more? I can hardly imagine even one player at all doing research about dcs and then thinking to himself: "What!? Only aim120b and c? <profanity> it, i'm out!" Not even one! What doesnt mean i would be against newer models. I just cant imagine that beeing an interesting point at all for possible newcomers.
