Just to put my experience out there. I had random stick disconnects on my old PC which was an asus 270 board. Since moving to a new motherboard and new CPU, I haven't had the stick disconnect yet. I read there was issues with several older USB controllers on motherboards. This how ever is no excuse for winwing sticks to disconnect at all. They need to fix the firmware to stop the stick timing out when there is an issue.

Hey there. Just wondering if anyone has a lua file for the winwing orion II and F18 grip for the apache. I managed to map a few axis and just bearly get off the ground but nothing else is mapped. Would like to see if anyone has some mapping they did so I can have a base to start with. How are the collective and power supposed to be setup (one on the slider and one on the throttle?). I can bearly get 200ft off the ground at full power. I am going to watch a few youtubes and see what else i have to do but for now a button mapping lua would be great if you can point me in that direction. Thanks!

Throught it would reply. Winwing just asked to reseat the grip which i did but the second time i unscrewed it i noticed the thread on the base has a indentation which is about the same amount i could move it... so i made sure the black ring was super super tight and in the middle of the indent. Then i made sure the lock screw was in super tight and its back to be being solid again. I think maybe the screw got loose and it was able to move inside the indent.

Thanks. It's not the ring thats loose it seems it's the whole base. I am worried about breaking connections in the base. Should I undo the grip ring and try it all again? It only moves a little but enought o do something over time. I have send support a request. I really like the base, i have random disconnects in DCS only no other sim. It only disconnects maybe once in 2-3 hours i have it plugged directly into the pc no hub it's a bit wierd over all, i had the same issue with my old stick too. received_90848893.mp4

I am just wondering because i don't recall if this was a thing. I have had light use of my WW f-18grip for a couple of months i would estimate about 10-20 hours since i have had it. I have tightened the ring on the bottom of the grip and put the little screw in there so it's solid but i can still slightly twist the stick like the internal connector rod thingy that comes out of the base, the screw ring turns with it so i guess it's the base. Is this normal or not? I don't recall that being normal. Might have to contact support as i have had 2 random disconnects in DCS but i am not sure if that was DCS or the base.

@markom Yes MT I can up some of the graphics settings and resolutions with MT up from 35fps to 60 stable. Looks promising. Will have to wait until MT can handle viewports.

I have ampcd viewport for the f-18 on a second monitor. With MT the view ports are not refreshing but overlaying screens one after the other. The text is also yellow not green here is a video of it happening. Eventually it will go all white. https://streamable.com/4dp90i

Old topic but i want to ask something similar on the orion 2, is there a hardware way to turn the lights off when not in use (not talking about a hub) I mean possibly holding in a button to turn the backlights off?

Hi I only get one MFD to do with the brightness the second is "mapped" to the bottom AMP screen so only one frame dims. I guess this is because the bottom screen is on a different brightness knob to the two tops ones?

Thanks.. I could even have a 3.5mm plug to pull. Maybe i can make a contact switch pull with 3d print. I would like to pull a tag off something i think would be the best for me.

I have nanos and mircos and esp.. So any solutions for those would be great i was thinking a magnetic pull on a keyring but i didnt see any specific code to detect the pull. I have a 3d printer too so i could print something.

I am looking at everyone's methods of making an ejection pull to eject switch for my rig. Few people have made an Arduino sketch some use a BBI board with relay. Is there a diagram and sketch using a Arduino Nano around? Was thinking about either a 3.5mm jack pull or a mag sensor switch pull. It's just going to hold a keyring not a full pull handle! Any guides would be appreciated thanks! Not sure what the better method is.

Only got my first modules the other day. I have been using opentrack for various games but i can seem to get any good settings for dcs. If anyone has good mapping or settings can you post them? When using OT and a marker I can not see the left or right side panels of the AC. But i can not disable tracking and use the hat of the joystick for some reason. If i stop tracking it just locks the view to what ever it was looking at I can not use the joystick to look around even the snap to keyboard maps don't work. Only if i restart a flight with the OT disabled i can joystick look... any help there?? Any one have any good mapping to be able to use OT with a marker to look around the panels?

I just purchased VA and started to use the baileys f-14 profile. When i ask jester or iceman something the first few times it's ok.. but then i will say something like "iceman climb to 10000 feet" and the command is recognized but in DCS it just seems to go to the RADAR contextual menu. When I say nevermind and say iceman again it's still in the radar menu . If i say nevermind and then say jester it comes up with jester main menu. it seems to be a bug where jester doesnt go to the MAIN MENU when you say the keywork iceman or jester? Most of the commands stop working except mostly the radar and jester shutup menus. I only have been using it for about 2-3 hours and I don't know all the voice commands yet. But i love the profile so far. Except i would like to be able to get jester to fly level and change heading but it just does the radar menu when i say that. I seem to have all the keys mapped correctly. Any help would be apprciated.

Hi i was looking at this and I installed the RAR file but only one segment of the profile is in the RAR The A6 panels? Is there a link to a profile with all the panels. I have data coming from dcs to the dcs-plugin for stream deck but yeh not much else is there. Thanks.
