Is the radar of the F-16C modelled in DCS actually that bad irl or is it underperforming? There seems to be a lot of turmoil about this subject on the DCS forums. Effectively the ranges at which you can lock a contact are very short. I find it hard to believe this is the case irl and with me many others. This has been discussed on various forum posts but these topics get closed left and right because the titles suggests another issue. This is not a specific bug rather a question if what we are getting is good enough. As i am not the only one that feels this way i am pushing this topic again in the hopes we can get some fixes/answers in the near future. Feature request, i know this has ben talked about before but would it be possible to include all non-elevated revetments to ground objects as an option as well? It has been stated that "the lesser of two evils" is making all revetments static objects but if you don't need the elevation but do really want to make templates this would be the best of both worlds, no? The mod is awesome but i have to build over 25 sam sites in a campaign and with 6 out of 7 revetments being not elevated that would save me manually placing of 150 static objects.

I've tried everything in this post. i've tried disabeling power.msc as well but that made my stutters 4 times worse. Hot plugging of devices is off, all the settings in this thread correnspond to my setup. nullFor reference look at the picture. Nothing of my pc is maxed out and i also do not believe this to be a definite hardware related issue. You can clearly see the spike in the graph. My specs: 10900K 6950 XT (brandspanking new, got it yesterday but stutters have been there with my old GPU as well which was a 2070) 32GB 3200 MHz Installed on an SSD with 100GB free space

Is it me or is this mod not working in 2.8? I downloaded the file that has only the shape file in it and put it in my saved games folder under Mods>Aircraft but its not showing in DCS.

I know theres eastern alternatives, but.. yeah. I know the MB-339 is coming but that is only in use by a handful of very specific countries. There are some awesome modders out there who create amazing two seaters but unfortunately due to them not getting the full access to DCS, modded aircraft will never have full sync which makes them frustrating to fly. So for all our western virtual air forces out there who want to be able to train new pilots with correctly synced models and cockpits, PLEASE give us the ability to buy something in the ball park of a T-6 Texan II or T-38 Talon.
