  1. Huge thanks that did it apparently was still data on C drive. now to reset all my settings lol
  2. I have just updated to latest version and installed C130 unable to load in VR. loads 2D have done repair and checked VR settings intel 14900 Nvidia 5090 64 GB ram Pimax Crystal Light dcs.log
  3. After updating and install C130 unable to use VR. checked all files and done a repair plus checked VR settings still no luck
  4. If you have the Nvidia app no need to use inspector as you can pick preset on the app now
  5. After todays patch if you have the Nvidia App you can now select the preset on there
  6. I don't know if This works via Nvidia App but DCS world now shows up in mine and the option to use latest is now selectable. Prior to the update i did yesterday this was not an option will test later to see if actually now working (3080)
  7. Side quest has its own site and i completely free there are numerous YouTube videos explaining how to install and use I think there is a thread for quest foveated rendering in the forums with a link for d/l yes it was designed for eye tracking but works on the Quest 3 just blurs outer edge so less to be rendered at high fidelity so increases fps but does also meann need to look a bit more in cockpit
  8. Get Side quest which is free this will allow you to change headset options and trust me you will see a diff the default the headset is set to is not the setting you can push to. I only have a 12700 CPU and 3080 GPU but can run DCS well and can read all cockpit gauges easily Also I use quest foveated by Mbuccia and this gave me a bit more performance PS use oculus debug tool as well there are many videos for settings or I'm happy to share mine
  9. I have a quest 3 and don't regret buying it for a minute. with a few simple settings in oculus debug I can clearly read all gauges in cockpit and run at a decent rate (current GPU 3080 and 12700 CPU) Connected to PC by AMVR v2 cable with no power drain on the headset so my advice is get a Quest 3 save the extra money to treat yourself to other things. Hope this helps and happy flying You will need new head strap and face gasket for comfort
  10. I have just got the AMVR v2 link cable and so far had no power drop from 100 % no Matter what I play cost was about £22 and no postage. Just connect usb 3 to pc and usb c to power brick that comes with quest 3 It has made a major improvement to my quest gameplay time
  11. This is the fitting there are 2 raised bits (right side next to screw ) stopping it fitting warthog base
  12. My rig is only a 10600 with 32gb ram and 3080 I use a Quest 3 and set Oculus debug to 1.2 and IPD in DCS to 1.3 and can run the sim reasonably well and cockpit is pretty clear
  13. I bought the extension to use on the warthog base and was disappointed that I cant use it as they have changed the fitting slightly. I could file off a bit of the plastic to make it fit but plan on buying the AVA base instead. Maybe that was their intention to sell more but I think It should have been made to fit either base as there are many warthog owners out there.
  14. I have a quest 2 and although better fps with DLSS cockpits were blurry. Just done a quick and dirty test changing Pixel per degree in debug tool to 1.25 and got most of the clarity back plus minimal loss of FPS. Still more testing to do but may help some people
  15. I recently got a HF8 and its own software worked for me straight away however I have found sim shaker for aviators to be a much better option. The only thing with that is to start dcs and be in cockpit then start sim shaker hope this helps and that you get the use you want from your HF8
