  1. @NineLine any internal push would be greatly appreciated. Such a small fix would bring so much to making the WWII experience more accurate.
  2. @Doughguy IIRC any potential High Octane fuel changes are slated to be looked at after the new engine thermal models are rolled out.
  3. @NineLine I second what @Cass is getting at. If I understand correctly, the rounds currently in game will be able to simulate late war belts in their full historical accuracy. Would it be possible to implement just those in the interim? Most MP and SP scenarios take place where those belts would have been in primary use, so I think it would be beneficial to the sim to get those in first.
  4. +1, As someone who plays a lot of multiplayer on Normandy, I'd love for more airfields to offer a wider variety of missions.
  5. So I've been having some on-off issues with my server browser in DCS. I mainly play on Storm of War since I'm a warbird nerd, and it usually shows up in the browser. As of late, the browser wouldn't display the server properly. I noticed a host of other 'big' servers also aren't displayed, like GS or Hoggit servers. I managed to bypass this but just connecting using the servers IP listed on the website. Now the issue has gone even further. I tried to connect later in the same day using the IP address, and was informed that "server is offline" repeatedly by server browser. This is compounded by the fact that whenever I'm in the server browser, all my other applications network traffic seems to get throttled to zero. Discord, chrome, nothing else will work until I close out of DCS. I've run a repair and cleanup on the game, reverted it to previous versions and then reverted it back to the live branch, nothing seems to fix it. Any advice would be appreciated. I will note I'm on a university network as well, the problems seem very inconsistent, so I'm hesitant to lay the blame solely on the network I'm on.
  6. @Knock-Knock Yeap, I was discussing this subject with folks who are concerned with disorientation or motion sickness that could be associated with a hard limit. A good alternative option would be to have the HMD rapidly fade to black when you exceed the limits of the cockpit. Obviously the more options available to the player, the better.
  7. @cfrag, I know Creep and Kablamoman are both approaching this from a Warbirds perspective. Those aircraft have far smaller cockpits, sometimes to the point where a user may accidentally clip their head through the cockpit while tracking a target. @barry_c was charming enough to make a video displaying roughly how much one had to move in order to peek outside in a 109K. Granted it's probably the most restrictive cockpit in the game, but still shows that one can do it without needing to contort to unreasonable lengths.
