Lots of comments about a loss of FPS with the latest OB 2.7.7.14727. Looking at MSI Afterburner I've noticed that my GPU usage has dropped from 99% to roughly 90-92% with the latest update - not sure if this is contributing to the loss in FPS

Yes - rolled back to an earlier version and seems to be ok. I'm not sure if the flickering is linked to G-Sync - switching it off removes the flicker. Noticed on the desktop with the TrackIR app that when the app is in focus the desktop background starts flickering.

Just updated to Nvidia driver 471.96 on a FE 3090 and now getting screen flickering within DCS

The best reference example I can find is on this Twitch VOD - timestamps for the howl are 6:25, 6:52, 7:06 and 7:15 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1076791904?filter=archives&sort=time I can still hear a slight howl in the latest release but not as prounounced as before in the example aboves. BTW I'm not running any mods at all and I have the standalone version of DCS, not Steam. Also I haven't applied the sound hotfix mentioned

I’ve noticed with the latest update that the ‘howl’ sound has gone when the engines spool up, is this intended?
