After changing graphics card to suprim 4090 from AMD 6900XT, Realtek 2.0 usb sound now has an echo that will only stop if shut off from windows settings app. I have uninstalled/ Reinstalled the Reverb and the drivers for Realtek sound card…

I just installed a MSI suprim 4090 with a 5800x3d. Had a 6900xt. I have done little to fine tune any settings within DCS but have updated DCS openbeta, OpenXR, openXR toolkit and the developer tool app. Settings I have tried changing are Nis, FSR, CAS and none. Fixed foveated view was off and tried it on the preset wide setting. Resolution was always set at 100% in openxr. Uploaded a photo of the screenshot with the black border. The border can be seen within my headset at I look towards the edges. The border does not appear in the main screen of DCS or when scrolling through the mission/ campaign folders Any ideas of the causes and fix.

Tried downloading new missions, Creating new missions, New instant missions. Could not get the Maps and waypoints to work...

Mission maps with created waypoints missing on kneeboard. happened after 2.8 update and deletion vaicom pro kneeboard, Other pages from Kneeboard folder slides are present this is what displays on several pages in the kneeboard ( not my AC)

Today Flew another mission on my computer with ACLS Mission sent by chewman and had no Issues. Connected A P P/R and caught 3 wire.... Track file was 11,785 KB.. too large to insert -

Hey BN, Flew with Chewman tonight, Both did not engage for AP with Tacview we were in his server Tried attaching track replay.... it is too large to post here,it is 22 MB.. Is there an additional place to post the file? -

Tacview-20220909-194544-DCS-Falklands.zip.acmi not sure if this is the file your looking for? I learned how to properly save the Track replay and reflew the mission with tacview on. Everything worked fine. Not sure what the issue was... probably an error on my part Thanks for the response.. -

Have been practicing ACLS with a partner and I had no issues while he struggled to connect auto pilot near carrier. We both recently rebuilt/upgraded PCs and I did not redownload Tacview. I did this last evening and could not couple the auto pilot three consecutive attempts. I was curious if this was caused by Tacview, so I disengaged Tacview using the settings menu options in DCS and was successful on first attempt at case III ACLS mission. Anyone else have this issue? And is there a fix or a setting to get them to work together on the super carrier terrain setting….

I know you can map button to recenter VR view in cockpit. I have that. When you launch a weapon and press F6 for that view the camera view is never in the same place as before. Some times behind, Aside or I've even had one off to the front.. Is there a reset or scroll setup for that view I'm missing somewhere? Or is it random...

Agree on the shame part but I bought off amazon. They have pretty good return services...Im actually going to mate the 6900XT with the 5800x3d cpu, see where the sparks fly after that. By the way thanks for your time and effort in the replies.

Yup I see the cables you have but the one I bought did not have them. The headset is working with a AMD Graphics card and worked with a RTX 3080 but would not connect the video DP cable slot on a 3090 TI. I sent it back in...as I received crappy support from online help and no response from email requests...

It just plugs in a PCIE slot. No power cords. Its known now on my forum... LOL

PCIE add on card did nothing. The card worked but the cable still showed that the headset was not connected to the cable. I removed latest driver and tried stepping down to several older drivers with no success. I removed the 3090 and installed a AMD 6900ht. It connected to the headset but could not run WMR with any measurable quality. After several hours of troubleshooting, unplugging, plugging cussing, etc…etc… I ran across a post that suggested the step down from the latest driver to the previous driver for the 6900ht. It worked. I had connection and have spent the last couple of days tuning windows/cpu/GPU and open XR to get to some stable spot. I still have a way to go but can now sit on the carrier deck without the headset screen splitting like a slow turning comic book. I have a service card submitted to msi for the 3090 asking them for a fix or just to return back to Amazon for refund. all other portions of rebuild/upgrade have been good. Looking forward to getting back to flying status. Plus got demoted back to Boot LT when I redownloaded dcs to new NVME drive… Thanks for all replies and help

So your opinion is to add a pcIe usb card on slot 4 for additional power to the headset. I think I have read that before in many different posts...I have alot of usb devices used on my IO ports but nothing on the front port... may be worth a try... Thanks for your time..

I have a new Rtx 3090TI from MSI. I had an alienware 3080. The headset worked with the 3080. It has a cable connection error from WMR of 1-4. I have plugged cable into the usb c 3.2 port as well as the usb a 3.0 with adapter..Has anyone had this issue and if so has a fix been found? I have a MSI z590 mobo with 64 gb ram @3200, 2tb ssd. With windows 10. I have version 2 on the cable as the headset is only 5 weeks new... Nvidia was no help on chat support and HP said they could not locate a matching serial number which just smoked me because the serial number is on the invoice I provided back to them in addition to a picture of the Headset label...
