Damn that’s too bad……….

With tremendous help of Folgers on Vaicom Pro Community discord, it was a problem with the microphone settings in windows10 + VA + DCS which weren't the same. I guess the re-install of win10 and DCS messed stuff up.

Hopefully someone can help me out on this one. I re-installed WIN10, DCS and VA + VAICOM. I’ve got it working outside DCS with no problems, but when I jump into the cockpit DCS doesn’t recognize any voice (only the PTT works). No mods installed. Did a clean and repair of DCS (couple of times now). VA in admin mode. MP checked in VAICOM. Even uninstalled VAICOM, and having the same problems with VA. Outside DCS it’s working, inside the cockpit it doesn’t work. Did a lua reset in VAICOM Any help is much appreciated. (Last screenshot is in cockpit.) VAICOMPRO.export.lua

As far as I understand it’s not about the seconds but about the G’s. A 90 left or right in mil power and or afterburner is for sure less than 20 seconds. Nice discussion about the topic:

@15:40 they do a G-warm (MOVER is a former RL fast jet pilot) First G-warm = 90 degrees 4-4,5G, second = 90 degrees 5-6G On our server we do it slightly different: Accelerate to 400 kts for G-warm LD: ‘Wolf For G-Warm and Weapons check, call ready’. WING: ‘2s ready’. LD: ‘Wolf In place 90 left/right GO’. - This allows one aircraft to roll out behind the other and check missile growl and RADAR lock. Aircraft behind ‘1/2’s complete.’ LD: ‘Wolf For G-Warm, 180 left/right GO’ - both aircraft Maximum power and pull max g-through 180 degrees, you can use height below if required. On roll out, the behind aircraft conducts weapons checks and then calls ‘1/2 complete – in-place 90 left/right back into battle. (left/right is left or right at your discretion)

I thought just having SimAppPro installed was bogging down DCS. Going to re-install the app. Thanks

Hmm I guess something is absolutely wrong. I did move my slider all the way up and down, it is not recognized by DCS. But also not in Win10 (Setup USB game controllers). If I install SimAppPro, I know I can assign them, but the app has some kind of bad influence on my VR Any ideas?

Ah well that's not possible, because DCS doesn't recognize them as sliders!

Hi guys, I don’t want to use SimAPPpro. I can’t assign axis via the DCS options menu. Does someone know how to use the sliders as an axis without SimAPPpro?? Looking forward to a solution.

No ATC listed MP on the Kneeboard ATC tab. (In SP they are visible) And indeed no response from Crystal! But the “interrogate” message is visible in the VA window

I do have the kneeboard extension. I did the interrogate command, but nothing happens. FYI it's not only with ATC, but AI comms in general in MP servers. I've tested in 4 different servers, and no luck so far

VAICOM does work in Single Player and Instant Action. BUT on 3 different multiplayer servers VAICOM doesn't work. I've cross checked it with someone else (settings etc), for him no problems using VAICOM at the server, and I've got: "there are currently no ATC recipients available in multiplayer" Switching to VR in a couple of weeks, hope to sort this out!!

Made a new mission everything works like a sharm.... But several MP servers doesn't work at all!

Thx MAXsenna, checked more miz's in my missions and seems to be that not all miz's are like that. I guess it (indeed) has something to do with the ME Although a quick check on the ME showed BLUE airfield and Blue a/c, for those missions which VC doesn't work

Yeah I’m sorry I meant user mission. Don’t know what you mean about correct collision ?. I’m not into ME myself, I use missions downloaded in the user file section or from our server and renamed the trk file to miz. I do get good AI comms via the keyboard (with the right freq ofc)

Hello all, Need a little help. I have the Vaicom chatter addon, but I want to switch it on and off when I want to. How do you switch it on and off?

Q (F18, tuned right frequency): When I start an "instant action" mission. And "request Taxi for Takeoff", everything is working just fine. When I start an user made file, requesting the same, it doesn't work and I see an orange box in VA window with "There are currently no ATC recipients available" Any help much appreciated
