  1. stick animation in cockpit looks non-linear for linear real stick movement, specially in roll channel there for the first half of real stick movement - rate is normal, but for the second half rate is dramatically slower. (I use linear axes mapping for real stick in control bindings) looking for control surfaces movement on external model - they movement rate is the same as real stick movement rate
  2. currently elevator & aileron trim with FFB enabled works the same as without FFB enabled, when FFB is enabled the trim should move zero-force center, without applying any shift to axis center, so that if a player holds stick in one position, the trim should alter only the forces on stick without any effect on control surfaces. (control surfaces don't move, only trim tabs - all other ED WWII planes behave exactly like this with FFB enabled)

  4. Hi SorelRo, I only have info in Russian language, so maybe you can use some auto-translation to read them: 12Таблица прил_3 (стр 217-234).pdf фразеология-виртУАБ-25.pdf
  5. I'm using FFBeast (https://ffbeast.github.io) stick with max force close to 40 pounds, and pedals with max force close to 80 pounds. It has custom effects system to simulate various forces, and I spent several days to dig into T-38 & F-5 flight tests documents to figure out exact force response curves for stick movement. Compared to simple spring stick (which I used for over 5 years) - it is completely different experience to fly F-5 - it flies like on rails - very smooth and very stable hands off. Lateral stick force is high, but it gives exact ailerons control, longitudinal stick force is non-linear with increasing force gradient and with more resistance to push than to pull. Also F-5 has bob-weight on longitudinal axis - about 2 pounds per G, which increases already high stick force, when pulling Gs - you just feel it in your hand! Pedals in F-5 are heavy - around 80 pounds at maximum deflection!
  6. this graph is from real flight test data for T-38, and maximum pull force is more than 40, close to 60 pounds! and yeah - every dogfight is workout
  7. Even with this trick, fighting AI Migs with FFB stick is very very hard, you have to pull over 40 lbs for maximum G!
  8. Yeah, thanks a lot, completed just 2 missions so far - much better experience compared to the old version! Flying remastered F-5 with close to real forces on FFBeast Stick & Pedals in VR - is so real and enjoyable!
  9. Just bought F-5E Remastered version, and it just replaced the old one, and all 3 campaigns for F-5E are working without modifications! So it is a good news, @SorelRo you only have 2 versions to support instead of 3!
  10. вопрос по фиксированной сетки прицела: а кто знает что за крестик большой верхний на 11.5 тысячных - это ось ракет с ИКГСН (как на Миг-29/Су-27) или что-то еще?
  11. oooh, 3 versions! Although it is just a change of aircraft type in ME and maybe weapon layout too, i think you don't have to retest for new f5 version, cause mainly it is just 3d model update. Anyway thank you for your work!
  12. Will the campaign be updated for F-5E remastered version?
  13. Hi SorelRo, I saw you've posted message about upcoming big update/rework for F-5 campaign, Any news about Mig-21 campaign? Will you have time to work on it after F-5 campaign update release?
  14. Thanks, Rudel! I hope it will be possible to change FC version to FF version in these missions in ME and play them with original FF aircrafts.
  15. Hi Guys, anybody who just bought FC24 or upgraded from FC3, are there any included campaigns or interesting missions for new jets (F-86, Mig-15, F-5)?
  16. Hi SorelRo, do you have any plans to update/overhaul this campaign? (this is the only story driven campaign for F-5 so far, would be great to see some refreshment for it)
  17. @CHPL I'm also waiting for your new campaign, don't give up!
  18. You can't modify missions in protected (payed) campaigns, only in free campaigns or campaigns which are included with aircraft.
  19. Hi Devs, has this problem been fixed? I just started the campaign and in the first mission "Show force" each time I hit practice target - I'm getting this Script Error Dialog popping up (I'm running the latest MT version 2.9.3.51704)
  20. Hi Tomcat Pilots/RIOs, found very interesting NATOPS F-14A Flight Manual related to weapon systems & navigation: https://mega.nz/folder/WR9hwQoK#NXGsaNB-30aOO8Ki_KS0tA/file/fR1zALhI from page 20-20: also from page 25-1: there are issues in current DCS F-14 implementation: 1. it's not possible to hook own aircraft using TID cursor in any mode. 2. in NAV GRID mode if own aircraft is selected using CAP NAV panel, TID shows bearing from own aircraft to YY (which I don't know if it's correct or not - cause in the manual "hook" word could mean: either hooked by TID cursor or hooked by selecting "own a/c" on CAP NAV panel or even both)
  21. Hello SorelRo, you've mentioned that you want to make an overhaul for this campaign, is there any news about it?
  22. Hi Reflected, in mission 10 - takeoff should be from runway 16, but AI taxi to the start of runway 22, but takeoff in direction of runway 16, and as a result they all crash into some hangar and all are destroyed, so I'm left alone to shoot down all bombers. (In mission 11 - takeoff is again from runway 16, and AI takeoff as it should from runway 16!)
  23. Hi Reflected, in mission 9 there are some floating objects (should be on ground level) above the departing airfield when you takeoff. (I played on Normandy 2.0 full high detail version)
  24. Hi Reflected, in connection with the update to Normandy 2.0, which version do you recommend to play: pure Normandy 2.0 or Normandy 2.0 & Channel mix?
  25. Thanks, yeah, I can confirm that cycling red radio channels helps in mission 2
