I think what's bugging me is all the new graphics cards are PCi Express (bobbing bast*8ds) Why they can't just stick with AGP and improve that so we all don't have to keep getting new motherboards every year :mad: Yes its a 754 socket as well. I have read the manual and its this socket so I am stuffed there too :mad: :mad: Mizzy

Here is my current computer spec: MSI KT8 motherboard Athlon 64 3200 (I think its socket 7** something) ATI 9700 Pro (still very good) with Advanced graphics place (AGP) 1 gig of ddr400 ram (no name on it just bog standards I think) 120 gig Western digital hard drive. 80 gig Maxtor hard drive 160 gig Maxtor external hard drive. Siatak x45 joystick (don't know how to use all the buttons but I am working on it) 450 watt power supply. M-Audio 2496 sound card. Please note: I do not play online so no need for a fast connection. Thank you all for the VERY kind words. I did get some help I am afraid with the skin as I didn't know how to weather using Paintshop. Yes I am working on a new skin for the Mig 23, Mig 27, F5, Su17 (what a brute) and some other things but I am back to work next week so no idea when they will be finished. :( Before Christmas :) Mizzy.

and I can't think of a better place to get it...grovel grovel ;) I want to get another computer with all new inards and things but I don't know where to start. I have about 1000 pounds (sterling) to spend. I had my old computer built from scratch with a AMD64, ATI 9700 pro, 1 gig of ddr400 ram, and a bus speed of 800 whatever that means. Anyone can help with their advice would be very much appreciated. Mizzy.

I wish I could help but I don't know myself really, I had someone do it for me. All I know is that this Cdds browser was used that comes with Modman (LOMAN). Then you had to find the files and that's where I got lost as it didn't look easy. So what I am saying is I can't help you, I wish I could be I just don't know how to do it myself. Can someone help this person and explain how you do it. My Partner works away alot so I can't ask there either. Mizzy

Yeah its groovy isn't it :D Still can't get the Fox to go supersonic though, I know I am doing something wrong but no idea what yet. I am back at work next week so only a few more days left with time on my hands to try :( Mizzy.

Yep my settings are all imperial, can't work out metric and I failed my maths 'O' Level. I will try some other missions but I have tried missions where the Foxbat fly really high (just like I read about them) but they can't go supersonic :( A real dissapointment....but I can live with it I supposed ;) Mizzy

This Foxbat can't fly to Mach 1 poor thing :( Its a sad sad world when you can't get your Foxbat over Mach 2!! Eagle Dynamics... you should be ashamed of yourselves. I am on the next flight to Moscow and lodging a formal personal complaint. We want a FAST Foxbat... when do we want it....... NOW!! :D Its been a long day doing nothing but play games hehe. Mizzy.

Sorry but I can't speak technical about this BUT..... Even I know that the Mig 25 can break the sound barrier ;) so when I set the mission up to intercept these American planes, they just dordle (is that a word! well never mind) along at well below supersonic speed. Now come on, this F16 is racing like bloody hell (supersonic I might add) across the virtual sky and the poor Foxbat can't break into a bloody sweat. Sorry ED but this is just NOT ON! The foxbat needs attention straight away, its a rocket for goodness sake...... We need all Foxbat fans up in arms and a petition to Moscow to show our complete dissatisfaction. Mizzy :)

I made a mission with two Foxbats that were to intercept a B1 9carrying AGM 154s i think) with a lone F16C as escort. First of all the F16 made mince meat of the two Migs but to my horror I looked at the speed of the intercepting Mig 25s. They barely reached Mach 0.7 :eek: I mean they were soooo blooody slooooww. Full reheat with those BIG engines not even getting to the sound barrier. Now COME ON ED, whats going on? A very discruntled Mizzy :D

What does balanced mean? Can I have an Su27 that wins all the time without being hit :) I have not hit anything yet in LOMAC but I am coming close each time.
