When will the new ship wake be available because it will add so much to my mission planning with ships and landing on carriers and stuff ! Mizzy

This product is far away from anything I have encountered in a flight sim. It's NO game though as I have found out. It's a simulation and it's very hard to learn. I have managed to take off twice only to crash and I have been trying three weeks now. I am staying with it because it is very challenging but very exciting to have such a simulation in the first place. Good luck..well I need it !! I would feel utterly inadequate !! Anyway a nice person said why not send a track to see what I am doing. So yes, I think that is a good idea. Here we are. Oh breaking news, I have managed to take off and land, see the second track. I have been out of the world of flight sims for a long time but this P51 is just incredible..I have the bug again. Incredible, just wonderful to watch. I have got this simulated airframe off the ground....for about 4 seconds and it crashed again. I think I may post a track file so everyone can laugh. Mizzy

Ahh ha...found it, you need to lock the tail wheel !! I think someone already told me that but didn't understand what that meant or how to do it. I still crashed but hey, nearly did it. Also someone changed my post title, never mind the title now is much more appropriate. This AFM thing is very addictive! Mizzy

Well, due to all of this wonderful communities help (gives me faith in human nature you know ) I nearly took off several times, I will get there and when I do I am even going to try online, something I never have done. If this is a real simulation for desktop computers, it is very hard. Mizzy P.S. I crashed in all my attempts today ..ho hum :-(

I knew I wasn't the only one, so are you telling me that you and a friend were the pilots in that Youtube video ?? Btw, thank you to everyone helping me understand what this new aircraft is and why it's so complicated. Mizzy

Awh thank you for that info but I don't play any games online partly because I don't know how to and I like doing art and graphic stuff for flight simulations mainly. I use the AI a lot to watch traffic fly around a lot, I don't do any fighting or anything but then again I have said this many times on here so most people who know me already know I am useless when it comes to air combat and all that stuff.... I don't do any fighting in any of them btw, they are just flight simulations to me and that's all I have ever used them for. However, I may take your offer up as it sound quite exciting and I suppose it's better actually talking to a real person rather than typing everything. Mizzy

Well it wasn't supposed to be a wind up or tongue in cheek, I just can't get this product to work and I didn't really know anything about it. Ok so it's just me, I used to fly this aircraft in IL2 Sturmovik and thought that is was going to be the same. Alright I must have sounded very stupid but I thought it was broke because it was nothing like IL2...Oh well Mizzy

That was unbelievable ! Mizzy P.S. I remember a 'Streakeagle' from my very old Janes USAF days when I used to post under the name of 'Jupiter'..long long time ago now.

I have just bought this product because it was a reasonable price, well my husband bought it for me but anyway, I have discovered that this aircraft and it's simulation is broken completely !! You can't take off without crashing all the time. I have not been bothered with my flight simulations for several years but I was always able to fly all the other simulations with no problem. This P51 simulation doesn't work, it skids all over the place and doesn't do what it's supposed to do. Is ED (whom I have loads of respect for) going to fix this aircraft I just bought !! I am working shifts at the moment and like a little relaxation with my flight simulators. Thank you in advance. Mizzy

Awh yeah, thank you Hungryjet, I thought they were lost. Anyone know how to add them to the DCS world ?? I don't understand it's file structure !! Mizzy

Couldn't stand the bright terrain, very unatural. I haven't really done anything other than sharpen the image with a high quality programme and contrast adjustment with the same. A few other things as well. It's not finished, in fact I have only started :-) Mizzy
