I can't believe it :( It is so sad and leaving a young family with this tragedy.

WOW seems like all of you are well versed in flying the Su25t  I spend nearly three hours, (and got into trouble over it) last night flying the Su25 and landed it 3 times out of 7. Now that probably sounds appauling to most peoples standards but for me, that was brilliant :) Some very good advice given as well, so thank you very much to all. Mizzy

Thank you GG I am just off to try that advice and see if I can get better :) Mizzy

I am not really sure who is the biggest "dumbass" with that comment. Anyway I hope he was not hurt too seriously and learned his lesson. Mizzy

I am asking only because as much as I like the advanced flight thingy, I just find it soo hard to control and fly, let alone try to fight in it. Don't get me wrong here, I love the idea of flight simulation being as close as the real experience, I would not be interested otherwise! Anyway, moving on to my point, is there many of us here fly this aircraft on a regular basis? I have just spent near enough 2 hours flying this aircraft and still have major problems taking off and (mostly crashing) landing. Still, I would love the Su27 having this Advanced flight thingy most of all in a future release of Lock on, or whatever its going to be called in the future. Btw, I have no interest in the F15 or A10, I prefer the Russian aircraft myself. Mizzy.

I have just done a fly around again, you know, visiting the virtual villages and flying for no reason but hobby interest. Well it beats hands down any other flight programme out their for me personally. I own Falcon 4 (both versions!) FS 2004, IL2 and Strike fighter series BUT nothing feels like LOMAC for virtual flying, oh and I landed the Su25 :) Well a bit of a usless post but thank you Eagle Dynamics for such a wonderful product. Elvington Airshow this weekend :) YESSSS. Its late so nite and God be with you all. Mizzy

Hold on, you mean we may not have this feature in Black Shark! Why not? I mean assigning a cockpit of your choice to a AI airframe isn't MI5 restricted information or code is it? Is there anyone from ED that can clear this up please. Mizzy -

Sorry I mean Black Shark, I have it in my mind it's Big Shark for some reason. Thank you forum members for your help as always but it may be easy for you lot to virtually fly but for me this Su25t thingy is very hard! As for the flying other airframes, I believe it's in the code that when you fly any other non flyable the cockpit defaults to the Su33 or the F15, I want the Su25 cockpit for my Mig 25 ;) Mizzy -
Dear Sir/Madam Can there be an option for changing cockpits to other aircraft in Big Shark? For example, an option so that you can fly the Mig 25 using the Su25 cockpit graphics, or Su17 using the Su 25 cockpit etc. I am a bit pi**ed off always having to use the Su33 cockpit all the time, so if it's a viable thing to do programming wise, it would be greatly appreciated for this feature to be available in the new simulator of BS. Many thanks Mizzy PS I have no idea how to land the Su25t, it always crashes, can anyone give me a clue, I think I have already asked this question but cannot recall the answer. It is sooo sooo difficult to fly this aircraft that I am almost at the point of giving up!

OT - In Mother Russia, pigs do fly
Mizzy replied to NEODARK's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
:D Thank God the animal was ok after that ordeal or I would be writing to animal rights ;) Btw Judge, it is not "this little piggy had roast beef" it's "this little piggy had some jam and bread" Pigs do not eat Bulls or cows ;) Mizzy -
Take a deep breath.... It's just a game!

This cannot be for real !! If I was his Mother I would get him some professional help and ban computers from the house. The dialog sounds a bit like the German pilots speak in IL2, they get a bit excited in that game too :) Mizzy A 41 year old 'Chick' -
Lock On is slowly but surely vanishing from the radar
Mizzy replied to a topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
The online community for any game speak the most and shout the loudest! But the truth is they are a very (I mean VERY )small minority of any game. No more than 5% of the people who bought IL2 play online and even less online players in LOMAC. I very much doubt that ED are that concerned with online community revenue apart from the online community are the most active in all the game forums the most, giving an illusion that games are played more online than in single player mode. Take a look at Quake III/ it was designed for online play almost exclusively. iD addmitted they got it wrong and developed Doom III which was mainly centred around single play mode to sell it! and of course Quake 4 had a strong emphasis on single play mode. Half life is another example and so on..... :) It's the old maxim, he who shouts the loadest....gets heard. Btw I am not knocking the online community, its a game and one can play it any way they like. But the real truth is in market figures and how successful LOMAC is ..... is in the business statistics and we are not privy to EDs business knowledge ;) Mizzy -

Don't you read too well? I said it was my opinion and that's your answer. Opinions, we all have them, get used to it ;) Is that warm and cosy enough for you! Good nite Mizzy -

I look at this forum almost every day, whats the point going anywhere else ;) As for simhq, I cannot stand the over policed policy which has left the place sterile, uninteresting and frankly moribund. Plus the fact I am banned from simhq and like it to remain that way. Frugals was for the Falcon cronies, a gentlemans (not quite) smoke room talking about a over complicated piece of outdated software. NO FLAMES PLEASE as its just my opinion, nothing more. Besides I don't have time to visit all the forums only this one and occasionally my other hobbie forum which I suspect no one will find of any interest here :) Mizzy. -
Why can't we land the Su25T on a carrier deck?

Weapons are not important to me, true enough bit I am getting a little more aggressive  :D Mizzy -

All it needs is a tail hook surely? Anyway, I thought this aircraft was capable of such an operation, am I wrong? Btw I am still awaiting some piccies of the new Mig 31 model, Ah I guess I will have to wait for Black Shark (I always want to call it Big Shark for some reason). Mizzy. PS. I have now mastered the BVR business and use Lock On as a combat sim, got bored with flying around the Crimea doing nothing ;) -
What is your 3 favorite aircraft.... and why :)
Mizzy replied to Mizzy's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
Oh don't worry about that, its interesting to talk about the SR71. Tremendous advances were made in such a short timeframe. I mean sixty years previous, the main mode of transport was the horse and cart, who would have dreamed that there would be a mach 3 jet in the very near future. WWI & WWII advanced the human race by an estimated 200 years, meaning without their happening, the horse and cart would have been around a lot longer, shudder the thought! Mizzy :)
