I have C-101,L-39 and Yak-52 in DCS and C-101 is my favourite trainer aircraft.I'm mainly targeting Yak-52.I've barely flown it,I don't know what special things I can do with it except for aerobatics.I have a CEII and I use it to cross tunnels. I don't deny that you will learn faster, but this shows a problem,DCS can't replace real life flight. You need to start from trainer aircraft in real life. That means the trainer aircraft in DCS can't achieve its purpose as a trainer aircraft.

In real life, you have to start with a trainer aircraft, but in DCS,you can start directly with a fighter. In real life,a trainer aircraft can teach you how to fly a plane. But in DCS, a trainer aircraft can't teach you how to fly a plane in real life.Even the best player in DCS,when he starts to learn to fly a plane in real life,he still needs to start from scratch, that is,from a trainer aircraft. So trainer aircraft in DCS is useless?Other trainer aircraft are okay, they can engage targets, but Yak-52 has no weapons. You may be able to do some aerobatics, but its playability is too low.I can't help but doubt the meaning of trainer aircraft in DCS.It can't achieve its purpose as a trainer aircraft. Is it because virtual pilots lack real flight instructors and formal flight teaching?Or is it that learning to fly must be in real life, and the simulation in the game is not completely real, such as aircraft aerodynamics,weather,wind,g-force,your senses, etc.

At least not like VEAO Hawk.

Clipped-wing Corsair! Then we need British carrier

ED said in the latest news that OctopusG is still adjusting the flight model and damage model of La-7,and said ED looks forward to making it available later this year. This is really confusing.I seriously suspect that ED is deliberately delaying the release of La-7.I think La-7 could be released as early as 2023.I guess F4U is also deliberately delayed by ED.I think F4U could be released as early as 2021.Magnitude 3 said in 2020 Christmas update Starting with F4U-1D Corsair, we are happy to report that the module is in its final stages of development. https://magnitude-3.com/2020/12/22/christmas-update/

You are right,it seems that A-7E has become another M3 Corsair. And unlike M3,FlyingIron has not released any DCS modules yet,FlyingIron mentioned more than once that developing DCS modules is challenging,so I am not optimistic about it.

I haven't noticed any changes.

I don't have enough hard drive space. The price of FC F-15C is the same as Su-25.
-
We poor Steam users are being ignored.
-
I don't think it's a big problem. I think the audience of FC and FF don't overlap much, and I think most people come to DCS to play FF modules rather than FC. There is no precedent for this, and there is no upgrade available for Afghanistan and Iraq that would upgrade partial maps to full maps.

If ED can make Su-25 free, why not F-15C or Su-27?Their prices are the same.I think F-15C and Su-27 are more suitable for beginners and can attract more new players to DCS.
-
I'm not as generous as you.
-
I guess those who are against me have never bought Su-25. I have never bought a module at full price.
-
Your logic is really incomprehensible. Imagine that the Hornet you paid for suddenly became free, wouldn't you be angry? The only difference is that the Su-25 is much cheaper.
-
Why should I be thankful?I just know that I spent money.
-
The module I paid for suddenly became free, this is really ridiculous.
-
I don't know why you say this.People just analyzed that IFE's next module is probably F-117.
-
That's wonderful!I didn't think about that.I simply thought January 17th=1.17
-
Well, I thought ED and IFE were as close as Trump and Musk these days... The support I mentioned is verbal support, not that IFE helped ED develop F-35, which is clearly stated in the IFE's statement of 'We are not involved'
-
You said what I thought.Considering that IFE supports ED in developing F-35 and that the news this week was about IFE's G.91, that IFE seems to be close to ED recently, and that the 2025 and beyond video was released on January 16th, close to January 17th, and that January 17th seemed to hint at the 117, I think there is a 99% chance that the next aircraft of IFE will be F-117.

Why the F-35 is a good thing concerning Warbirds
dcn replied to aldox's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
Never. Since the release of Mosquito, we have three WWII aircraft waiting to be released. The problem is that the development speed of WWII aircraft modules is too slow and there are no more third parties willing to develop WWII aircraft module. -
This is what I want to say. Isn't the purpose of playing DCS to be as realistic as possible? If some procedures are imaginary, why should I spend time reading DCS manual to learn it?I studied like a nerd for a long time, but what I learned was a fictitious procedure?
-
I don't know why so many people say this.So we shouldn't complain when ED releases X-wing module in DCS? I think there is no difference between releasing F-35 module in DCS and releasing X-wing module in DCS.
-
That's interesting.Never knew this.Thank you.
