  1. I feel so ashamed :D EDIT: this track is for DCS A-10C stupid thing.trk
  2. there was a shilka nagging me, but i couldn't find him, so i decided to close up to draw some shots a couple of mav passes, and i found myself with no more ordnance to expend:noexpression: only this time, my wingman landed with me armed, and heading back in, alone two is rolling? WTH! I guess he never learned that he needed a runway to take off...... 3 missiles in the air now, wow they really are pissed off at me one last maverick and it's mission complete! lining up on the ground, at last! now where's that ladder? a great mission, it got me the distinguished flying cross! Looking at the debriefing, i shot 12 mavericks and made 7 gun passes, they also shot more than 15 missiles at me (i got 2 Sa-11 missiles shot at me each time i went over 4000 ft MSL.) I want to apologize for the comm text filling up the screenshots.
  3. It took me 3 attempts to finish this mission, in the first on, i got shot down by a strela, the second one, i pulled too many G's at low altitude and well, you know what happened.... and here's the third one: for this mission, i chose to carry 2x 3AGM-65H, and two LITENING pods (I guess I decided to go in with a symetric loadout). Taking off, with my wingman behind Diving for some cover those hills look really big first target in sight not anymore got too exited i guess..... one dead engine, and a missile inbound, great start :) I managed to limp back to my home plate to get some repairs done joining up with my wingman, notice how he jettisoned all his stores after a Sa-11 took a shot at him diving back in another missile evaded now it's my turn can you belived that it missed:mad: now i'm really angry lining up and squeezing the trigger like there's no tomorrow
  4. Hi I've got a question for you: how do you get the tanker to turn? thanks
  5. Congratulations! I had actually finished that mission when A-10 was still in beta, it's a really nice campaign.
  6. :music_whistling: You have to be REALLY good at math to do that but if you're established on the glide slope, a descent rate of about 700 ft/m should work
  7. Don't forget the Viggen: here, the reverser isn't completely deployed And I think (not sure) that the Av-8 Harrier can do reverse thrust inflight .
  8. ^^^^ :megalol:
  9. And I just downloaded the full 1.1.0.6 about 4 hours ago........... oh well let's go for another 3-4 hours:censored:
  10. They will have to make a specific hornet model that cannot carry guns or missiles...... :music_whistling:
  11. You could also dim or turn off the nav and refuel lights if you were using them.
  12. I pulled 20 Gs in the hog, now who said it wasn't agile :D
  13. Well I had finished refueling and formed up on the left side of the tanker while my wingman was trying to take fuel but for some reason he kept saying that he's taken damage I guess it's another bug...
  14. Hi, Speaking of ejections, once in beta 4, I ejected and landed near a UAZ, so I got in to drive back home, but as soon as I got inside, enemy units started shooting at me. It's funny how if you walk around them, they do nothing, you have to be inside a vehicle to be considered as an enemy :D. I tried recreating this situation, here's a track, feel free to fast forward with ctrl Z and return to normal speed with shift Z UAZ.trk
  15. Check out this thread, seems to be a fix for it :http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=68201
  16. I've got the same error too, it's too bad, I really like this campaign .......:(
  17. My most thrilling experience was in the shore campaign, mission 4. Because of the bad weather the satellites were useless, so I had to fly below the cloud deck (3500ft) along 3 routes and report the one that was used by the enemy to move its arsenal. The flight to the first route was long and uneventful, I used the TGP to scout the highway and only encountered 2 or 3 vehicles. Later, awacs warned me of approaching bandits, so I got lower to avoid fighting them, but nothing, they shot 2 missiles at me, so i used terrain cover to escape and reengage, I fired both my AIM-9s and turned around to escape, my wingman wasn't as lucky. I kept following my initial route, worried about the enemy fighters when I saw 3 AAA and a Sa-8 Spike on my RWR, things happened really fast, within seconds, a missile was heading towards me, so I broke right while releasing chaff and flares, but I got hit and lost my right engine and rudder it was hard to stabilize my aircraft, trimming helped a little but I still had to fight the controls, when I was confident enough, I shut down the right engine and put out the fire then switched on the cross feed. I ran away as fast as I could and reported the route they were using. the flight back home was really hard, and the landing was ugly, i popped all my tires but the aircraft survived, my hands were shaking. I shut everything down and quit, mission successful, the debriefing showed that I was attacked by mig-29s and that both my missiles missed... That was the most exiting mission I ever flew.
  18. I don't know about the shore or the devil's cross campaigns but in the third one, Georgian hammer i think, you can call other allied flights to provide sead support or take care of enemy fighters. You should try it, it's in the comms menu using the F10- other submenu. In the first mission, I used them to clear up the combat zone before I contacted the JTAC.
  19. @jazjar: the first mission of the shore campaign is a CSAR, you are tasked to provide cover for the chopper against any enemy AAA while they pick up the downed pilot, and I don't remember encountering any enemy CAP aircrafts. @DocSigma: I checked the nearest friendly AB: Gudauta and no ils either. I may be wrong but i think that you have to land in your home plate for the mission to be a success
  20. I am currently playing through the shore campaign and got to mission 6. the objective is to destroy an enemy observation point in the mountains above the clouds. So the mission starts up, and the first thing i notice is the poor visibility, i can't see anything for 10 meters. No problem, just the perfect occasion to do an IFR approach. the actual mission was quite easy and uneventful, but while i was going back to sukhumi (my home plate) i tried to set up the approach and searched the CDU for the ILS freq. but there is no ILS in sukhumi even the F10 map doesn't show any ILS.... So i started panicking and decided to go for a visual approach using the spi on the hud to orient myself, i got as low as 200 feet and still no visual, i couldn't bear to crash my shiny new A-10 so i climbed up and quit, hoping to go to the next mission but nothing.
  21. Hi, I also tried that mission, the JTAC didn't answer my calls (and yes I have tuned the correct radio). So I decided to go for some tanks on my own and got my 6 kills but there are too many targets for just 2 A-10s, bombs are a no go because of the low ceiling and the AAA cover even JDAMs are useless against the moving targets.... My wingman ejected and I returned to base, no mission success. You should try the shore campaign, even if the missions are long, they are very well made and interesting to fly. So far i got to mission 6.
  22. Hi, On the ground, when you activate the gun PAC , the master arm, you can shoot the gun and the A-10C will go back and if you hit the brakes, the nose will go up.
