  1. No help here, just someone in a very similar boat. I've reinstalled graphics drivers with DDU in safe mode, ensured all updates are current, completely reinstalled DCS on a brand-new drive, wiped my Saved Games DCS folder, can either fly for a <30 minutes online, or it'll crash on mission load. Every crash has a similar error to yours, a random DLL and #C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION. Mine usually is edCore.Dll or edObjects.dll on both single and multi-thread. It has been happening since right before the release of MT, but it seems to be getting worse with each OB patch. Doesn't matter which aircraft I'm flying or server. I cannot get it to happen in Single Player though.
  2. Did you ever find a resolution to this? I'm having the same issue. Certain missions run just fine on my desktop when launching as multiplayer, but when I run it on my server DCS stops responding and the last entry in the log just shows it loading the mission.
  3. Resolved! Was chatting on the Varjo discord and someone suggested doing a full DCS repair and checking the "Search for extra files after repair" checkbox. I completely missed that option during the couple of full repairs I did. I must have had some VR shaders or something, and I know I had something to modify the NVGs in VR in there, that I must not have properly cleaned out. Everything is working well, can easily swap back and forth between Steam OpenVR and Varjo OpenXR with ease. Thanks for taking the time to look at this with me!
  4. Yea it works fine. To revert I've been deleting the custom files and running a quick DCS repair to get the original files back.
  5. Well, I actually hadn't tried starting DCS with the headset on. I reverted back to SteamVR last night, so I just dropped the openvr_api.dll into the bin folder. Confirmed OpenXR was enabled in Varjo Base and used the below shortcut to launch DCS with the headset on, but I get the same error. Then added the other .dll and .ini file from your zip, same error.
  6. Anyone ever run into this error when trying to run in OpenXR? The OpenComposite guide has a footnote about a few games that includes DCS: I've tried different versions of the D3DCompiler_47.dll (including the one in Supmua's zip folder from this thread) as well as renaming so it uses the one from my system path as suggested in the guide, but I get the same results. Unless someone knows a fix, could one of you drop a copy of your D3DCompiler_47.dll from C:\Windows\System32 that I could try? I'm almost solely doing this for XRNeckSafer (after realizing VRNeckSafer and the Aero don't play well together) because I play in a DOF Reality motion platform and checking my six is literally a pain in the neck.
  7. I keep getting this error when launching DCS. Reading through the OpenComposite guide it it mentions this about DCS: I tried using the original D3DCompiler_47.dll, the one that came with OCXR_WMR_ACC versions 0.6.1 and 0.6.3 as well as deleting D3DCompiler_47.dll from my DCS\bin folder as the guide mentions, but no dice. Resolved! Was chatting on the Varjo discord and someone suggested doing a full DCS repair and checking the "Search for extra files after repair" checkbox. I completely missed that option during the couple of full repairs I did. 8. If we had vertical FOV limiting in VR as well as the "left, right, both eye" options for the NVG, like we have for the Apache's HDU and the HMDs in some jets, it would be incredible. Even the latter would solve problems in a lot of modules. Not that that's entirely realistic, but neither are the global, somewhat modern "looking" NVGs that you can use in warbirds.
