Just ignore that switch panel.. have a try with the left MFD.. Did you follow the instruction and added the Lua file? on what drive letter did you install DCS A10.. C: D: or E:... You get the time out if the script cannot read the export file that should be available when the export.lua is configured the right way.

Mmm. Strange.. I know that people are using touch ir with the ipad2. Fastest way to go is to contact Dave at his Touch Ir page. -
iControl DCS (Another iPad pit)
Ghost_unit13 replied to boarder2's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
You can just install the autohotkey plugin in the touch ir app "setting menu/tools/upgrade" (on the Ipad) Don't see why this should be different on the ipad2? -
Do you think you app will run together with the Ipadpit? I will check if it is technical possible to make an button in the ipadpit to start/jump to an other (your) App from within the Ipadpit. Would be cool to have all you stuff available with one button push!

Hey Sickdog, Nice to hear you desided to make it a free product. I did with my Ipadpit and it feels great to contribute to the A10 community and hear how people like the product you make. That's what I did it for, not for the money (and a little because I wanted a working MFD on my Ipad myself ) Like the note before, start a Paypal donation account and people who like you product will support you! I´m happy to donate for you ipad version !

Little demo of animated switches in Ipadpit
Ghost_unit13 replied to Ghost_unit13's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I set the grabber on medium quality. I had it on High with the small static MFD's that I used when they were on my default monitor. Now I got them on my virtual monitor I made them larger(300x300) and so the grab quality can be down. You have to try a bit to get the best performance with the quality that is good for you :) -
Little demo of animated switches in Ipadpit

If time permits I'm still working on it :) , Check the INIT button.. that's doing the trick :) You can already download a first version with the animated switches. Making the animation images will be most of the work now.. not sure how fare I will go, but the idea was to get all buttons animated.. -

And a Ipadpit dual MFD video.. Having my camera setup for the animated switches demo, I also made this demo of the dual MFD in action. Trying to hit car with a mav. :megalol: Dual MFD demo. -
After receiving some test scripts from forum member Alphatoomega and some very good help from the developer of Touch IR it looks like I finally got some good scripts to get the switch animation working. This including the switch status reading from DCS A10 so the Ipadpit can stay up to date with the virtual pit. The first switch you can use are the one’s with the leftMFD. The following four switches are animated: The MasterArm The LasterArm The GunArm The TGP on/off The functionality is working for two way and three way switches. This is just a start. with the code I have now it is possible to get all switches animated. The big challenge with be the animation images self. As you will see the first four are a bit raw.. I’m still working on them, they will get better. I didn’t had time for some long testing runs but you can get an early version here to try it yourself. Any feedback would be great! ipadpit202_anim.zip You should have the ipadpit running on you ipad when you start with this. If you don't have it already check my site. The Ipadpit is a free download but it uses the Ipad app Touch IR. This app will cost you including the inapp plugin autohotkey around 6$

iControl DCS (Another iPad pit)
Ghost_unit13 replied to boarder2's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I set it up and it works perfect! got a 800x600 virtual monitor. I don't see a fps impact in the sim. All you do is making you monitor bigger and park the mfd's out of view..and grab that part. you don't need the VNC tool for it. -
Forum member Alphatoomega had a great find how to get a Virtual monitor. With this virtual monitor you get a second monitor available that is hidden but can be used for the IPad solutions to park the static MFD's that are needed to get them live on the Ipad. I checked it out with my Ipadpit and it's working great! No more static MFD's blocking my view in the ipadpit. I made an instruction for the IPadpit how to set it up. (might work for the Icontrol users also) You can find it at the document download section of my site: www.ipadpit.nl Please check it out en let me know if it works for you !

iControl DCS (Another iPad pit)
Ghost_unit13 replied to boarder2's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I can confirm it is working with my Ipadpit !! Using a 800x600 virtual desktop with two static MFD's, I got a full cockpit available without mfd's obstructing my view of the cockpit.. With 800x600 the frame rate looks good for so fare. I need some more testing and change some aspect ratio setting for my view buttons but will make an instruction for you available. update: I made some instructions that might be usefull for icontrol users also. You can get it from my document download section on my site http://www.ipadpit.nl
