You have to change the monitor lua file. I configured it for my 1920x1600 res. It look like the static mfd is not at the right position? And do you run A10 in windows mode? When in Windows mode you migth try enable or disabling Aero for better performance.

I had to click around in the resolution settings of win7 before I got it working. Do the detect, set it to VGA and extent you monitor with the new one should do the trick. I had the monitor lua file configured for the mfd position but didn't set the total screen res manually. I left it default... I will try it when I'm home. If this works it's perfect. What I've seen for so fare ( working desktop while in sim) looks very promising

And I had a try in game.. I can see my second virtual desktop on my mfd's in game ( and it is active when I go there with my mouse) But.. A10 does not gives me the option to make the in game resolution bigger than my default monitor (1920x1200) this means I cannot place the MFD over there with the lua files.. What am I missing here..

Woow!! I had a quick check with my Ipadpit and I can actually grab the virtual monitor desktop!! need to check it in game and configer the MFD to the virtual display but this looks like a perfect find!! Thanks Alpha !!

Great to hear you got it working. How is the performance on the ipad2?

I tried this with my Ipadpit (working the same way) but could not get it to work. We would need an virtual monitor for that. tried it with some 3th party tools but no go for so fare.

You need a wifi router to get your ipad connected to the internet and your local Lan. You pc can be connected to the router using a utp wire and so connect to the internet and Lan. The lan (local area network) is used to connect you ipadpit with the pc.

I use the ipad1 and it works fine. But if you about to buy an new ipad i would go for the 2 anyway. It connect over wifi to a little server app that is running on the pc with a10. This way it can send the key macro's and return the screen grabs for the live mfd and cdu screens.

Ipadpit is Ipad only. IPad1 works fine.

Yes I have noticed that. Looks like an A10 bug to me.. haven't got onto it yet. but for what I know I just send one key stroke with the left and right button turn.. It works great for the UHF..

In that case just get version 2 and just ignore the setup of the screen grab option :) You got it all working without live mfd. it will look like this but with dark mfd's. and when you scroll down you get some more switches that I use a lot during flight and the F1-12 function keys for communications. like this: I was pointing to version 1.2 in case you needed a static background right away.

:) This image is taken from a Alpha version where only the Webview button worked (a custom size webview window with url link) The server site screen grabber that publish the MFD's didn't work yet. I just added an default web adress for show. In the Ipadpit version 2 it got the url of the server. The Ipadpit is created with the Ipad app TouchIR+, so Ipad dedicated. sorry. I got track IR and made the movie with a cam in one hand (damm hard to focus on doing all the flying and get a good shot :) )

Yes you can use it without working mfd's. I guess you like to have the dual mfd with UFC Ipadpage page static? You can use them without working displays just by not starting the Grab function of TouchIR, but you will have dark MFD displays then. you also don't have to configer the ingame MFD's. I you did it's easy to enable and disable in the game menu. A static display with a static image would be good for a reverence what button you need to push. I will make a static backgound image for you so you can add this one if you like. Give me a few days.. If you wish I can make ipadpit version 1.2 back available for download. This version got only static MFD. But it doesn't have the dual mfd/ufc page. About the radio freq feedback.. yep that's something I would like to have to.. The only thing that would be something I could use is the screen export option I've seen for the UHF freq they use for the Helios solution. But this would mean grabbing that onscreen UHF freq and displaying it in my ipadpit. it will cost some extra room in you in game FOV. I'm not sure if that adds a lot to the functionality. What I do is go to the radio comm page of the ipadpit and push the lower left or right site of the display ( there are big hidden snapview buttons ) with that you get a snap view of the in game radio.. with one hand pushing this snap button, I dial the freq with the other.. because your in a snap few of the in game radio you can have a quick look at the radio when you dial the freq.

If you got an Iphone or Ipad you can use those..

You might check the way Sandman reads the mission data for Helios. (I didn't read the details but looks like a way to go) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70408 I little server tool connected to your Ipad or Iphone could transfer it realtime. The server option is the way I use for my Ipadpit solution. (using a 3th party tool Touch IR) I hope you get a Ipad version running soon, It would be a great addition for my A10 Ipadpit :cheer3nc:

BTW.. I added a RAR version for who got issue's with the Zip7 file..

there is an option in Touch IR for that. ( when starting TouchIR) Check for it in the Help option menu

You might give disabling AERO Theme a try in full screen. In windows mode you seems to have it enabled to get the best performance..
