Mm.. we had something like this before.. I think we have to contact Dave (the developer of TouchIR) about this.. Send me a pm or try sending him a mail about it at his touch IR support mail address, most times he replies very fast. There is an option to set the quality of the images in the grab window.. low is higher speed. default is High I think. I know the speed is something we have to work on but with the web view button this is probably not possible. For that we need streaming video. Something Dave is thinking about.

I added a little update to correct a typo in the LeftMFD. Just add this version in Touch Ir You can do this by: Tools/import background image/ Select this file Confirm the "replace image?" message

Do you get images of the gui of A10? and can you try it with a default monitor setup so we can exclude the triple monitor eyefinity setup?

That's interesting. I've seen this before.. I Have to check. . Is your in game resolution the same size as you windows res? what could happen is that you grabbing "outsite" the game resolution if this one is smaller than the windows desktop resolution.

I know I could have been a bit clearer in some parts of my doc :music_whistling: but no, what I mean is that with a resolution of 1920x1200 I can live with the 2 250x250 mfd's in the left lower corner of my FOV. So they are alway visible. I you know a way to display them in a non viewable part let me know!

Hi Guys, Version 2.0 of the Ipadpit is available for download This version includes the following: • All MFD's and CDU displays are working. • The UFC is now directly reachable from the LeftMFD • An extra Activity is added with a landscape ipad view with 2 working MFD's and UFC • Some extra switches are added like the autopilot switches. There are two profiles included in this package. One for a Dual MFD and one for a Single MFD solution. You might choice to use one MFD to get a better in game cockpit FOV. Performances wise there is a difference also. It’s up to you with on you prefer. Read the doc's for the installation and configuration instructions. what file do you try to import. The download zip or the export zip insite this zip file.. next to the doc map and lua file there should be a file named: TouchIRServer_export_full_v1_2.zip that's the one you need to import. (don't unzip it)

Great work boarder! Working gauges would be cool. I don't think I can arrange that in Touch IR. :) And in touch IR there is some configuring involved when you set it up the first time. What I do like in Touch IR is how easy you can re-arrange the pit. I just made a new layout with a two live mfd and UFC in one ipad view. I had it running in just one hour. Making pits for other sim's like FSX shouldn't be any harder. Touch IR got some limitations but it is very flexible with the scripting you can use. Got some scripts that makes the warning lights go on and off using the sim status from the export.lua file. Same for switch status. Just cannot find the time to get all the necessary switches and light images to really use it in the ipadpit. Keep up the good work, I will be the first to buy it! :thumbup:

Looks like the key command file is not loaded correctly. You did load it because you got the mfd buttons...didn't you? Check if you can configer a command bij cleaning it and adding it not by pressing you keyboard but using the IPadpit button.. take a button you checked that worked in the ch key tester, should be something like Lctrl+Rctrl+L or what ever combination. And what kind of a keyboard do you use. I can only support a default US international.

Yes it can. I asked Dave. He told me you can use more than one Ipad or Iphone or mix.

With help from forum member MetalNWood I managed to get a livefeed MFD/CDU Ipadpit prototype. I say prototype because it is not yet usable for real simming but it’s a start. The idea is to grab screen dumps from you static MFD and display them on the Ipadpit. Using Touch IR+ with webview buttons and a by MetalNWood custom made screengrab/publishing tool. It is to early to say if it something that can really be used. We have to see how things go. You can see a demo here:

Why are you forwarding? Normaly you pc (touch IR server) and Ipad should be both inside the segment of the router. so you don't need a forwarder through your router. What can be a problem is the firewall on your pc. What OS are you using? Try to disable your firewall on your PC temporary to check if that's the problem. If it is you need to add an inbound rule for TCP port 8822 on the firewall of your PC.

Yes you can. I disabled this in my touch ir settings because it fits better to the left/right console layout,mfd and CDU. For me only the UFC would benefit from this. But you can flip it just like any ipad app and it can be set to autoscale.

All is possible. I've got the Radio comms on the Ipad version.. But you can do it yourself.. It's not that hard. Make some screenshots and fit them for you Iphone. Configer the keys/buttons and here you go.. all you need is some time ;)

Well, as fare as I know not with Touch IR. It would need a Helios for Ipad app for that. Touch IR can animate switches and show fast refreshing Http pages. With that we have to do it.

Just import the ipad pit version and check the buttons macro's. The pushh release action uses 3 buttons. One push macro button,one release macro button and one macro button that combines the two and is the one you see on the display.

A bit like the TM mfd's. I hope to get a working mfd display one way or the other. We can display buttons as webpages and it should be possible to get screenshots from a static mfd say on the right lower corner of a monitor. Together with a local light webserver it is possible this way. Have seen it working with a custom made ipad app. I just need someone who can make me a screen graber.

I love the cold startup with my Ipad. For me it's faster this way and somehow feels more like really switching the switches. I alway had some trouble getting the mouse on the button smoothly.. I still check most in cockpit buttons using my TrackIr. But this is not alway necessary because of the feedback Click sound you get from the sim.
