Hi Darksky! I tried everything I could and no joy! I mailed Thrustmaster Support and they asked me to try it without the panel… no good! Then they asked me to send Viper TQS (without the panel) to them (France, I am on Europe)! Looks like they sent it back to me (tomorrow is the expected delivery) but no info on what was the problem (I presume it is fixed )! So, what I suggest you is to contact/mail Thrustmaster Support and let them fix it! At least 2 more people (besides you and me) had the same problem! Hope it helps… I will give feedback as soon as I receive my TQS back PS: Thrustmaster Support gave me a postal label and I had nothing to pay for sending/receiving Viper TQS, jus had to pack it and deliver it on Post Office

After testing Viper TQS without the panel (mission pack) the problem is still there! Got news from Thrustmaster support. They want me to send Viper TQS to France for technical inspection (no costs on my own), they only want to see the throttle without the panel!

Hi! I have the Viper TQS mission pack for almost a year now! It is a great throttle, but almost for the last 4 months I have had the most unusual/weird problem with loss of buttons inputs from throttle only, the panel still works, and I receive no USB disconnecting sound… if I unplug and plug it (via USB-C or USB) it works immediately! I cannot reproduce this behavior, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after several hours! On Windows devices it doesn’t work too! I’ve tried everything: Reinstalled drivers and firmware Changed USB port (2.0, 3.1, powered HUB, MB back panel etc) Uninstalled HID Windows power management BIOS MB updated … I only play DCS on my system, Windows 11 updated! It worked flawlessly for the first 6-7 months… no new hardware, and software is the same with updates only! If you may ask, only VHF/UHF IFF in/out, dogfight override mode, air brakes, TDC cursor, MAN Range, uncage button stop working, throttle itself works but with some spikes (not smooth anymore)… “panic button” and panel work just fine… if I unplug and plug-in it will work again… but it might stop working again… I don’t use and didn’t ever installed TARGET software! Sorry for this post but this is driving me nuts!! Yes, I will sent an e-mail to Thrustmaster support! Dunno if it is hardware or software problem!! Thank you all Cheers

Same here, TrackIR 5.5.1 wasn`t working on DCS (even with game update). Version 5.5.0 worked but i reversed to 5.4.2 because it was smoother. Cheers

Hi! Just a quick note. I reproduced this feature when i changed CBU spin RPM from 1000 to 1500 and because of the dispersion the two trucks were burning and only after a minute or two they got "killed"... maybe this was the problem! Pointing the TGP between the two trucks might help! Cheers

Hi! I use to boresight them on the air. Speed around 260-280 Knots (to give u time to change the rack), altitude 6000-8000, and range 4-5 nm. I get the best results with this method, and i also use home airbase after airborne for boresighting. Doing it on the ground seems to get worst parallax effect, same with range above 6 nm or less than 3. To be honest i tend to boresight as close as i can get as using AGM65 to strike something. Make sure u have the correct TACAN and see what it works, be sure to have the correct radio channel on Pri. Going to mission 5 and no problems with tankers so far... but we never know . Cheers

Yep, same here! You are ordered to anchor first (5 and 6) then second element (3 and 4) but then they build up speed and altitude and go away... and I waited and waited... then I went for H4 to land... it all went great on final but never saw 3 and 4 again !!! Cheers

Hi! MAXsenna gave you the most common issue » sync with HOTAS enabled. Master Caution also lights up if you are on wrong CAT I / CAT III config. Cheers

Check there is no other assignment, set some deadzone to it (around 5)! Got to Thrustmaster software (where you update firmware) and check if it is working as it is supposed to! Calibrate if needed!

It is working now, last firmware did the trick

Like Raven said, TGP MFD hit CZ OSB. In CCIP the TGP will follow only your CCIP reticle, you can’t CZ on this bombing mode! Cheers
