  1. Just found this thread and following the instructions from @Guppy removed the wobble. Took about 10 minutes. When I opened the stick I found only one (loose) screw connecting the shaft to the base. Thanks guys.
  2. I am wanting to build a late 1990s map of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus using the syria map. I am therefore searching for static models - ground equipment, vehicles, and aircraft - from this period. Can anyone point me towards some good packs? I have some of the excellent work by @Massun92 and@SUNTSAG and the VPC airfield pack, but I'd really like to find some static aircraft models for the Hawk T1 and T2, Buccaneer, Jaguar, and VC10. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please and thank you.
  3. Thanks guys. I will keep trying to see if it is user (ie me) error caused by impatience. I’ll run a clock from when he splits as fragged. In the meantime I’m working through RO:DF and I love it. Such a great way to learn and I’m constantlylooking for ways to improve. A great piece of work @baltic_dragon thank you!
  4. Right. Tried again today. Same problem. We both tanked in full and then pushed for WP4. Switched to Magic, AI wingman then took of south as fragged, got 40nm away then started to bimble about 20-30nm from my position. No 'Tapes on' call. Nada. What am I doing wrong?
  5. Thank you. It’s good to know it’s my problem. How long was “…a while”?
  6. I think this bug is back...Smoke splits at WP4 as planned, but then holds a low orbit around 20-30 nm from WP4.
  7. I think there is an associated problem: in the mission editor the carrier deck details - foul lines, elevators tie-downs etc - are missing. I have also been flying night traps and consider the lighting inadequate. I can clearly see the lights of every other ship in the area but can't see the carrier until I'm almost upon it. Reading this thread, if the work-around to that problem is with a livery/mod could this also work in the ME?
  8. The NATOPS performance charts for the F-18C often require the aircraft's Centre of Gravity expressed as a % of the mean aerodynamic chord (MAC). This is calculated starting with the unique MAC for any given aircraft which is recorded on a DD365-4 form. Does anyone know if this information is available for the DCS F-18C BUNO: 165407?
  9. These are gorgeous. What software did you use to create them?
  10. Bit late to this, but I was playing around with Markpoints at the weekend. If you have a waypoint sequence selected, then any Markpoints you create are added to the next (unselected) sequence of waypoints after WP60.
  11. What the title says really... I want to create a mission which first requires a flight of BLUE F-18s to identify two RED ground groups - at which point a flag is ON - and other activities and events can be triggered. I just don't know where to start. I'm guessing it will need a script. All help gratefully received.
  12. Thank you so much for the comprehensive reply.
  13. I've built a Caucasus template map for my missions which has c.3000 static objects. Is there a way of managing how these are handled and displayed? For example: Can I choose which objects are displayed on the F10 map, whilst keeping them all visible in the mission builder map? Can I choose which objects are displayed in the trigger drop-down menus? Apologies if this has been covered before. Thanks in advance
