  1. I think sprawling cities, dodging between buildings like previously mentioned is more fitting for Ace Combat than a simulator. Middle East, please!
  2. Yep exactly! Ahh, we can dream. Hopefully it'll made, if not by the devs, at least a decent campaign mod would be nice :P
  3. I'd definitely like to see these kind of missions. I'm not a huge expert when it comes to real life situations but I can't imagine it's too realistic for an A10 to attack a position with 5 SAM lanchers only to dodge until they're out of missiles (or is it?). <<< This is all why I'd love to see an Afghanistan Campaign. Stingers would obviously still be viable. Personally (and I'm getting ready to be flamed), I'd find it much more fun to run simple search and destroy missions on convoys of insurgent trucks or...send a JDAM into a well infantry defended building (I guess that fall into JTAC). Obviously it wouldn't be much of a challenge but immersion is enough fun for me. What I'd REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY love to see is a campaign with a few "allied push" sort of missions. Now I'm talking tanks...soldiers...the works...trying to take over a position with each of them calling in CAS on certian positions...even if it lasts hours. I'd make it myself but my work in the mission editor is...terrible.
  4. A million times this. Even if I had to pay ten quid for an explosions expansion to get it close to that video. It's the ONLY thing in the game that draws me from the immersion.
  5. I gotta say I agree with the blokes asking for bigger explosions/dirt kick up. The sim is amazing in the way of accuracy which makes it even odder to me when a MK84 hits a jeep, that's it's more like someone threw a molotov (I know it's a beta). I'd buy the game twice over just to have this: But obviously there's the factor of game performance...It would definitely be nice though if it was atleast an option.
  6. Yep, worked. I will literally name my future children after you. Well I've got an X52 and usually I'd assign them to the profiler buuuut it turns out the control scheme isn't so easy haha. Hee hee, glad I'm not the only one. Trust me, it's been a bad day today trying to get this game down. Not only did my computer chair break, but I dropped a load of wheetos into my laptop while stressing out over this CCRP thing...Knowing my luck I'll get hit by a SAM missi-
  7. I'm...supposed to HOLD it?....Wow....I'm not living this one down . I'll give it a go, thanks.
  8. Hey guys. I've ran the tutorial for the Litening, the Unguided and the JDAM's and stilllllll my CCRP fixates itself on lining up with the waypoint SPI. Now, this is exactly what I do. 1) I make sure the JDAM is set to drop on CCRP mode, save the settings and return to the weapons screen. 2) I move my TGP crosshair over my target, zoom in, press LCONTROL+UP to set it as my new SPI. 3) Line up from a fair distance and then...oh...my CCRP tadpole thing is still fixated on the waypoint SPI and is lining me up to drop a 500lb bomb on some field. I've ran the tutorials, watched video's numerous times and I must still be missing something painfully obvious. The diamond to show I've marked the tank is still ON the tank but my CCRP tadpole is still aimed on the waypoint's SPI. Also, I've searched the forum and haven't yet found a single person confused about this...that's worrying.
