Peter. when I click on the link on page 1, I'm taken to some download site and when I click on the download, and the download is finished, the zip file looks nothing like the above. The knee board files are not there, but a bunch of loose files are. In addition, it tries to get me to download some tool bar I don't want. Do you have somewhere else we can download from. Additionally, my firefox warns me about the site.:helpsmilie:

No, I can see where you might be confused. I bought A-10C thru Steam, and later downloaded DCS world thru ED, and downloaded the A-10C module thru ED. When I opened DCS world after installing the A-10C module, I got the activation screen and of course used the activation key I got thru Steam to activate it. What I'm saying is, every module I bought thru ED has a serial number (key) listed, except my A-10C, but it works. What I can't understand is why my serial number is not listed in Module Manager, and I can not input it?:huh:

What I would like to know is, why can't I input the serial number in the module manager of the A-10C I bought thru Steam?

geloxo, could you possibly do a simple cold and dark mission so us old farts could practice starting the UH-1H, and setting it up for a mission (ie, radios, weapons and such)? I'm still trying to control my landing without worrying about doing the mission planner or editor just now. More along the lines of start up and shut down practice. Makes no sense in flying it, if I can't get a handle on start up procedures without going to training mission and doing monkey see, monkey do. :)

Frankly no it wouldn't, having had two hues shot up going into hot LZ's in Viet Nam, neither one exploded. Blew the skids to hell and the blades turned to crap, but the Huey is a hell of a lot more reliant than ED portrays.:pilotfly:

Please tell an old soldier how to or where to install the skins, please.

I agree, the starter switch not showing but being a keyboard key or HOTAS button is better, with the idle cut off being operational.

Okay, what is torrent and how do you use it?

I just downloaded the new update 1.2.4, and in it I found the module manager. Entering it, I found the modules listed with either buy or install next to them. I did the KA-50, and the P-51, but the A-10C had a buy next to it. Going into the installed section shows the A-10C as installed but has no CD Key, which the other two have. I bought the A-10C through Steam, but I can't get the installed section to enter my CD Key for the A-10C. I need to be able to have the key listed, so the A-10C will turn from buy, to install to finish the update. How do I over come this problem?

Any chance we could get some install guidance?

Viper, I don't have DCS World set up yet. I downloaded the files on the main web site where the download button in training took me, and installed them. That was after I pulled my head out of my four point of contact. Thanks for the heads up though, when I finally do install DCS world. Update: Installed training missions according to Readme file, but when activating missions, nothing happens, no sound, no instructions, nothing. Weird. Last Update: Finally found the reason for all this, and have corrected this mess.

I downloaded Black Shark 2 yesterday, and installed it last night. Today, when I went to the training section, there were none listed. I downloaded the videos from the site where the download button took me, now what do I do with them? :helpsmilie:

Okay guys, with what you guys are saying and other recommendations I have seen, not just here but in other forums, I just ordered TRACKIR 5. I went with the reflector clip instead of the pro clip. Thanks for all your input.

Cavenman, go to your steam library, click on the A-10c listed on the left, and on the right should be a listing (CD Key).:thumbup:

Does anyone have the TRACKIR 5, I'm thinking of getting it, and it supports DCS A-10C?

When doing the nav training and I get to the point where I designate a point on the ground with the HUD as SOI, and I push left control up(arrow) on the keyboard, nothing happens. When I went into options, and pushed the keys, the TMS forward line is selected. This happened the other day, in the familiarization flight also, but the very first time I did it, it worked. Anyone???????:cry:
