When the DCS 2.9.4.53549 came out I saw that there was the feature for showckwaves and trees/bushes from shockwaves and prop & jet blast: NEW: Added over-pressure shockwave influence from bombs, missiles, shells and gunfire on terrain vegetation like trees, bushes, and grass. However, this only seems to be an option for multithreading. Was non-multithreading supposed to have this feature as well? I'm still flying non-multithreading due to the issues I'm still having with multithreading (ie-stutters)

I have a Saitek Throttle Quadrant. If you have access to a 3D printer, you can actually print some P-47 throttle handles that are on Thingiverse

Not sure why it's not working. I have it working on multiplayer servers when I fly. Only thing I can think of is making sure you have the .lua files installed in the ...Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Scripts/DCS-ExportScript/ExportsModules folder. There are technically 3 separate planes of the P-47 so you need to be sure to load the correct profile when flying it.

Anyone still flying the DCS Thunderbolt in 2024?
Stele replied to Lurker's topic in DCS: P-47 Thunderbolt
Absolutely love the P-47 in DCS. Almost always ground pounding when I go on the servers, but I definitely need to be cautious in dogfight zones. It will hold its own in a low dogfight but not for long. I've improved in desperate dogfights when low by using flaps and forced overshoots, but if I'm going to be in a fight I definitely prefer being much higher -

Helios Users - New P-47D Profile V1.0.0

Awesome job. Congratz on finishing this. I haven't used Helios before, but now I have an excuse to use it now -
I noticed turning anisotropic filtering off for me made a big difference while using MT. For the longest time I tried every setting possible, but I just tried your suggestion. I do notice an occasional stutter, but it's likely due to the mission or being online like normal. Hard to tell, but it has vastly improved with that off, now.

I just posted the profile for it in the users section. Thanks again. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3334973/

Thanks. That was a huge help in helping me figure out those ID's. I was able to do it for all variants of the P-47D. Also, I made some of the panel lights functional such as the fuel light indicator and turbine warning light that I couldn't figure out before. My long term goal is to make profiles for all of the warbirds, but I will be posting the P-47D's in the user files section soon. Looking forward to your Helios profile too.

Thanks. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could send it my way, please.

I'm extremely close to finishing my profile for the P-47D-30. I just need to work on the images. I was able to get the landing lights and fuel light to work too! The current .lua file only supports the P-47D-30 variant, but I was able to work it a little bit with the P-47D-40. The only difference between the two is the weapons panel, as I cannot assign certain switches such as the Bombs&Rockets and the Safety switch. I had to make a general hotkey switch instead. If anyone has or seen the .lua files for the P-47D-40 and the P-47D-30 Early, I can work on those. If not, I still don't know how to make a .lua file from scratch as I'm still learning.

Thanks. I'm working on making profiles and I definitely will use this. I'm almost done making my profile for the P-47D-30. I've mapped everything with the current .lua file for it, and I just need to update the images. I'm having trouble with the P-47D-40 and the P-47D-30 Early since there aren't any .lua files for them. Do you happen to have them or know if anyone worked on them?

I'm hoping to work on some instrument panels for the P-47 for 2024. One of the first panels I'd like to make is for the P-47D-40's arming panel. This one look fairly simple to make since it is switches. I'll likely print the box. My question is the size of these instrument panels? I really only need the dimensions of the front face panel. I've tried looking around online but can't find any details. Would anyone here happen to know? Thanks.
