  1. Happened to my friend today. He was around 300ish knots mild right hand climb, rolled out and started to do a negative dive to descend by 10-15deg and instantly blacked out. He showed me the clip afterwards and there was zero warning. It wasn't the smoothest negative G but it certainly wasn't harsh enough for instant blackout without warning. He never came back and crashed into the ground 7000ft below.
  2. Hi, mainly for multiplayer gameplay, could we have a special option for the MirageF-1 to remove the map light? It's something that gets in the way and doesn't really add anything, just is a bit annoying. Pretty please EDIT: To further clarify, I mean this light specifically. If it would be possible to have within the settings -> Special -> MirageF-1 an option to disable this, or if not, a clickable option to remove it like the radar hood, that would be very appreciated. null
  3. Yeah I don't have a track but I've certainly found this FPS drop (I'm running a pretty high spec PC, at 60-90 frames on Syria with high gfx settings) when using TEL mode in multiplayer: 1) With myself and a friend on a server he was hosting on his midrange PC, running Caucasus 2) Enigmas Cold War server with a decent number of players on, on the Syria map. When switching into TEL mode, especially if there are maybe 2 contacts within range, though I've seen it with one only, it can cause some harsh FPS drops to under 25 for <1 second and then it goes away (Though for my friends lower spec PC it can be multiple seconds of huge FPS drop to <10 fps). Manual Lock-On seems to be fine. I'm not sure if aspect has anything to do with it, but found locking HOT bandits quicker and without FPS drops, whilst possibly cold/beam bandits cause some more fps drop? Although this could be a red herring and perhaps aspect has no impact.
  4. Anyone know what the additional "Missile Lock/Unlock" part of it does? Is this implemented yet? I've tried with Aim9Ps and 530EMs and wasnt really sure what it was doing - seemingly nothing but adjusting the gun pipper at the moment.
  5. So, to be clear, TEL mode works great. BZ mode doesn't work for me. It shows it has entered the mode on the radar, but it never does anything. Manual locking "Lock-On" also works fine.
  6. Whilst I've not encountered this bug yet (my ON and OFF for MD and MG have always worked fine), I agree with OP that the option to have a control that lets you use one button to toggle ON/OFF would be nice as an option, along with the current situation of a separate key for each.
  7. However, a bit of testing with the R530 EM, the distance never changes from zero. So I'm not sure if that's not working correctly at the moment? No ranging info once a target is locked via Lock-on or TEL mode before and after launch.
  8. Yeah I think you're right, once a weapon is selected it's showing distance or the canon distance setting, not your heading any more. Which seems a bit annoying, but probably working as intended.
  9. Ah, yes I see what you mean - I'll jump in now and see if there is a way to keep it on heading. Thanks! If found I'll return and remove this post
  10. Seems that Radar OFF and Radar TX both work, and that the radar instantly turns on or off, so currently standby mode is the same as TX (on).
  11. Landed, shut down my engine (placing throttle into cutoff with the small red lever) and repaired correctly after a nose wheel collapse during a landing. Continued: (Sorry I can't seem to edit the above). However, after successfully repairing I was unable to restart my engine. Following the same procedure as cold start, I switched everything off and tried to start it multiple times, but when pressing and holding the starter button the engine never responded.
  12. After start up and alignment of the gyros the heading tape displayed on the HUD shows correctly. However, as soon as you either select some weapon stations (e.g. M.D or M.G FUS) the heading tape will change from accurately updating to show bearing 360 degrees. And if you then select C+M/SW mode the bearing changes to 025, but is again fixed on this bearing and won't update or correctly show your heading. Once you disable any armament stations (turning off M.D and M.G FUS) and exit C+M/SW modes, the heading tape will then start working again.
