  1. Is there likely to be any new l audio in the upcoming F-4 Jester?
  2. I was able to run VAICOM without the IC fail error. Looks like todays hotfix from ED fixed the issue. Nevermind, I have an IC fail. Bug is not fixed.
  3. That sounds like a great solution! Thanks for the feedback!
  4. Are there any plans to transition away from this method? Do we have any insight on how the network would handle 5 aircraft attempting to link? My understanding is that Airboss can’t handle multiple aircraft in a single grouping.
  5. Optional Jester wheel Review of AIRIO NAVGRID and Marker commands, adding a Jettison drop tanks command.
  6. My squadron is wanting to do BVR training with jammer, and I had heard that for Link 4C to work in multiplayer, the fighters need to be part of the same group? Is that accurate, or can we just be on the same frequency? If it is true, is there any way that might change in the future?
  7. This is wonderful news, thanks @Hollywood_315 for keeping this going! If we establish a community dev team, or someone really takes it fully over, I'd be happy to volunteer some my time contributing to some patch work and testing over the next couple months. Coding is not my strongsuit, but more than happy to contribute time to scut work, VA programming, and documentation. I use AIRIO extensively, and would love to help reduce the need for the Jester wheel even further than the current implementation allows!
  8. RIO body shows regardless of pilot body option selected. Haven't gotten to play with much else so far! Phoenix's seem improved!
  9. Some feedback: RIO body seems to exist even if you don't have show pilot body selected. Is there any chance we could see more of the Jester wheel commands in the controls menu? I think it would make a great deal of difference in voice attack profiles and make the F-4 VA profile easier to program for when it comes out. An command to have Jester "listen" without bringing up the wheel would go a long way to make a VA profile very similar to AIRIO. I'll be working on a VA profile this weekend that I hope will cover most of the AIRIO functionality.
  10. It's completely broken. VAICOM AIRIO Kneeboard Addressing that VAICOM uses for most of this stuff must have changed. This might be the VAICOM killer patch. Reccomend y'all look at Bailey's VA Profile: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308776/. It might be the only game in town if we can't community fix VAICOM.
  11. We really should get a topic with the latest .dll files linked pinned.
  12. Yeah, if i could figure out what to change on the lua side to restore it, it looks like it's relatively simple to update within vaicom. VAICOM literally just has a file it where it appends stuff and then restores the original file when its not in use. I think it moves anything that's a popup as well, since the NS430 module doesn't work with it either for likely the same reasons. I don't have that module to test that theory with.
  13. @prestonflying I'm sorry to hear this! I really appreciate the work you've put into the fix!
  14. Yeah, it’s clearly Hollywood’s preference, and not a technical limitation. Now, because VAICOM’s appending the .Lua code and restoring it, probably need the changes to be made within VAICOM to keep them from being overwritten at each startup. I’m finding locations that seem promising, but it certainly is not as easy as finding (movewheel) in the code, unfortunately.
  15. I normally start it before, and that’s just normal function. I started it after I was in the Tomcat on a server and the wheel remained for the hour I was in the tomcat, and VAICOM and AIRIO seemed to function without issue.
  16. I don't think that's true. I can fully function AIRIO by turning it on after I load into the sim, and as long as I remain in that plane in that instance, the regular wheel is accessible, and Vaicom works as well. There's something in the VAICOM files that redirects the wheel to the hud only view. I *think* I'm making some headway.
  17. Phoenix flying over the shoulder bug still occuring. This one was fired in PD-STT. Pheonix Fly-over.zip.acmi
  18. I’m trying to restore the conventional jester wheel. I’ve noticed multiple servers have set it to where you cannot turn off the cockpit frame, completely removing the jester backup option. does anyone know the coded name for true cockpit frame or have knowledge on how I can disable this from being set by AIRIO? I’m assuming that there’s an instruction within the airio.dll that VAICOM uses update a .lua file. I’m not very familiar with dcs modding and don’t know what the name of the object I should be looking for is. My primary use of the wheel visually is for radar target selection and programming of nav points. I occasionally have to use it for a/g ordinance selection as well. “set steerpoint to map marker” has not been very consistent.
  19. Those with update problems. @MAXsenna has uploaded the most recent .dll files in this thread. This should allow you to update your files and end the popup cycle. More keywords and commands in these files!
  20. They weren't, since vaicompro.com was not hosting the latest versions. They are labeled that on the website, but they are not the files as you can see from my install. Thanks to @MAXsenna, however, I'm able to install the latest .dll files and the commands are there! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1GHwKl9BPbMwvsRO_XO_RpYsh2OdOGfgo?usp=sharing Hosting the same files on this google drive. Thank you @MAXsenna!
  21. Can you upload them or host them on a google drive?
  22. Version's reported are not the latest versions, but those are what I download straight from the website. Anyone have the later .dll files?
  23. I'm having the same problem. In the dark image, that's all of the commands that are exported from AIRIO. None of the below LANTIRN commands other than track marker are in there.
