  1. Still a thing. Happy 3 year anniversary!
  2. With Afghanistan and Iraq having high fidelity areas in the map that players can purchase it would be nice for missions makers to know exactly where those regions borders are. If I have a full map but users only have a certain portion I can't exactly see where that regions is. If that's too much to ask for at least make it a thing if future maps if they release like this for whatever reason.

  3. This was a good talk, I really enjoyed the input and feedback on why the ranges are like this, and that we should just have the m60 as the main battle tank for all engagements and defense. Maybe next time we can incorporate more users into the discussion.
  4. Still can't place heavies at this airfield, even though there is map asset airliners there to simulate life. Only airfields in that part of the map that can support them is Tel Nof and Palmachim(don't recommend)
  5. Yeah we'll give them info on a 40 year old platform for a full fidelity simulation and even have decent weapons. But we can't get that for a 40 year old fox1 Flanker. Yet somehow can get full fidelity in the F-35..
  6. Not in DCS. The ground game is very lacking and rarely gets addressed. I use the illumination flare trigger to simulate illum rounds. You set up a trigger zone for the areas you want the rounds to be at and can set the altitude they "deploy". They fall pretty slow.
  7. Opsec reasoning most likely. And if I remember correctly Wags said SAAB doesn't like giving away information on their current airframes. We're extremely lucky to get a rafale and will most likely not see it for the next 5 years minus a teaser here and there que the eurofighter.
  8. I mainly only notice this with ED modules. Depending on the aircraft you need to be at a certain fuel level. For example the F-16 you need the refuel door open and be around 4,000lbs if I remember correctly for you to get the external tanks topped off without having to toggle them off and on.
  9. This can be said about almost all blue air, that they don't have an equal opponent in DCS even when it comes to AI aircraft. Unfortunately we'll probably still be stuck fighting MiG-21s.. yay
  10. @BIGNEWY @NineLine Just tagging you guys again to see if one of you know if the team will be addressing this eventually.
  11. Currently all static unit personnel are carrier based. 1 Airboss, 6 LSO's, 1 seaman with only one outfit color, carrier shooter, and a carrier tech. Would be nice to get something new after all these years to simulate non carrier based operations AKA airfields. Crew chiefs in different camo types to support certain timelines, UCP, Multicam, etc. crew chiefs with jacket on or off think Iraq or Afghanistan summers. And if you want to go the extra mile, the French dudes wear shorts. Yes I am aware we can place down regular ground units but they wouldn't have a rifle slung around an aircraft
  12. Ok so what feedback do you have so the campaign maker can use it for the future instead of basically saying "This sucks."
  13. Good talk, I really enjoyed it.
  14. I personally found it to be one of the better campaigns out there. What do you think would make it better for your standard?
