  1. And use the new one for something like the AH-1G Cobra? The old flight model was about perfect for a flight sim... 99.9% of anyone that flies this doesn't know how a "real Huey" reacts, all I know is mast bump is WAY too ungodly easy to do now and I need to reduce collective to get the nose down when at higher speeds or otherwise it climbs.... And yes, my cyclic is pushed 100% forward and I still have to reduce collective to dump my nose down. Please please please scrap this flight model (where the Huey is concerned) and go back to the old one.
  2. Great times!! Come join in the fun!! The Apache is definitely not an Air-to-Air helo by any means! The gun can't hit anything!! I'll be running the Blackshark Primarily in the Helo PvP fun times as to give myself more flight and maneuvering practice with it all while having a great time!
  3. Okay, default keybind for that now is RCtrl+RShift+Z for anyone that needs the keybind. (If using right MPD to align as that is the right MPD left button 6 keybind).
  4. Yes it was the BS/PLRT switch I was referring to for aligning my IHADSS to the boresight. Okay, I will try that. Thanks!
  5. Anyone else having this issue since the recent update? I did a quick search in the Forums and found no other posts so... RCtrl+W use to be the default command for Boresight on the IHADSS, it no longer worked so I looked in the keybinds and believe it switched to RCtrl+E, however, that didn't work either.... So I tried clicking with the mouse in the cockpit, that didn't work either.... Mainly throwing this in here as a bug report, if I'm doing something wrong please apprise me of what it is as my way always worked previous to the patch. I can render a video of it and link it to a YouTube post if anyone needs it as I'm assuming it will be over 50MB. Thanks!
  6. You must not know Star Citizen very well, it's not a "Gameplay loop", it's a way for the backers to upgrade their ships from the old concepts to the new ones without losing their already invested money, as the game is not complete yet. I can argue to say this game is not complete yet either, as it is missing many functions a fully complete game should have, I'll just use in-game voice comms not being complete as an example, that is a core function for a game like this. Yes there is a difference as to the sales for this game, as it is the only funding model this game has. That is why I was suggesting a 50% reimbursement (from the actual dollar amount spent on it, not the current price) for modules no longer wanted instead, nor would I ever ask they give the ability to "gift" modules as it would turn into the absolute sh!* show CIG has going on right now with the Gray Market Sales. The only thing this opinion I have for ED is to increase THEIR revenue, giving $12.49 back on a Huey sold on a sale (Just an example) that just collects virtual dust in someones virtual hangar for in store credit isn't going to break the bank of ED, as that little give back will produce them more revenue in the purchase of a different module in the future, and possibly the resale of the Huey back to that player further down the line.... But as I stated before, these are my opinions on the matter and you have yours. Thanks for taking the time to add to this post.
  7. Trust me, I like the pricing right where its at, when they're on sale.
  8. Not to give ED ideas or anything, but people would spend more on their modules if they charged more, comparing the quality of said modules to Star Citizen. I for one am glad they are no less than half the price they're actually worth. Lol
  9. It's not nonsense, it actually is a smart business decision judging by how CIG (Star Citizen) makes it able to get full in store credit for "melting" ships or items you no longer want and they make more now than ever in revenue. I'm pretty certain it would never happen either, and yes some part was impulse but moreso I'd planned to learn them and figured out I like helicopter flight way better than fixed wing. But I respect your opinion, thanks for commenting on the post.
  10. The Ah-1G Cobra is VERY close to a real life copy paste of the UH-1H... They strive for realism, right?
  11. Probably an unpopular opinion but I wish I could trade in Aircraft modules, not maps or campaigns, for in-store credit. I'd be happy to get 50% of what I spent back and only be able to buy non-sale prices for that feature. Yes, I know they have the 2 week trials, but I didn't know that when I fist started playing! Now I own the FC-3 pack, Tomcat and Harrier and NEVER use them! lol I'm just a Helicopter sim pilot I guess! You should give that idea some consideration ED... Just saying. Thanks to whoever reads this and gives it feedback, we all know time is a valuable resource we can never get back!
  12. I know.... Why do things that make sense, save development time and create an additional quick source of revenue without having to recreate the wheel?
  13. I was going to make a post about them making the AH-1 also.... However, I feel they don't need nor does anyone else "want" basically another Apache. So here are my thoughts to the Devs: A) Make a model of the AH-1G Huey Cobra. B) Use the flight model of the Huey with minor tweaks, as the AH-1G is slightly more maneuverable and lighter, if I remember correctly. C) Use the AI Co-Pilot from the Huey and give the CPG (Front Seater) the ability to take over the gun in MP game play. SP will be AI CPG only. D) Rocket Pods are only used by the Pilot, as with the Huey Module that already exists. Basically, it is nice to have the simplified systems in some of the Airframes, as many of the airframes become far too complicated to operate/learn. Furthermore, there are quite a few "Cold War" type servers that need these simplified airframes as to keep the balance better in-game. Also, they tend to be amongst the most popular servers for people to play in. Biggest thing.... SAVES A TON OF DEVELOPMENT TIME! The AH-1G is based off the UH-1H, therefore using an already in-game and popular asset with slight tweaks will save hundreds of hours of unnecessary development time. I for one own the UH1, Mi8, and AH64.... This is what I would like to see come in game.... The AH-1G, nicely simplified Attack Helicopter for the Novice players to learn in and the Veteran players a great attack airframe without having to take many extra hours to learn to fly and be good with it....
