You must not know Star Citizen very well, it's not a "Gameplay loop", it's a way for the backers to upgrade their ships from the old concepts to the new ones without losing their already invested money, as the game is not complete yet. I can argue to say this game is not complete yet either, as it is missing many functions a fully complete game should have, I'll just use in-game voice comms not being complete as an example, that is a core function for a game like this.
Yes there is a difference as to the sales for this game, as it is the only funding model this game has. That is why I was suggesting a 50% reimbursement (from the actual dollar amount spent on it, not the current price) for modules no longer wanted instead, nor would I ever ask they give the ability to "gift" modules as it would turn into the absolute sh!* show CIG has going on right now with the Gray Market Sales. The only thing this opinion I have for ED is to increase THEIR revenue, giving $12.49 back on a Huey sold on a sale (Just an example) that just collects virtual dust in someones virtual hangar for in store credit isn't going to break the bank of ED, as that little give back will produce them more revenue in the purchase of a different module in the future, and possibly the resale of the Huey back to that player further down the line....
But as I stated before, these are my opinions on the matter and you have yours. Thanks for taking the time to add to this post.
