Incredibly difficult to take off in this aircraft. A little bit of everything you guys have said works for me and the success rate is still less than fifty percent in about ten attempts. Am at it. Manish PS : Always thought german a/c were better than american ones. After looking at the Mustang, I could not have been more wrong. Wonder how the Luftwaffe pilots coped with this bad boy from Willys farm. Its an absolute horror.

I too see same error when trying to update to 1.2.14.xxx.xx from 1.2.12.xxx.xx Tried and failed to update no less than ten times and its getting frustrating. Is there no other way to update ? Manish

You see in the above video, the Mig-21s touch down on the mains and roll out with the nose wheel in the air for quite some time. Not able to do this in the LN MiG-21bis. What am I not doing to achieve whats in the video. Thanks for any help, suggestions and pointers. Manish

Wayne Exactly the same experience I went through with the P-51D. GPU makes all the difference in handling a/c in DCS World. To all who are waiting and thinking, I say go for it. The GTX750ti is a bargain in the western world, unlike here where it is a tad expensive. Manish

Thanks for all the inputs guys. I went a bit overboard and got the GTX750ti GPU with 2GB DDR5 from Asus along with a Corsair VS450 power supply. I am glad I invested for the bis coz I get no less than 34fps with it at Medium settings on airfileds and ofcourse higher, 60fps +, in the skies. This is with no other aircraft around and with the small update from LN. This add on means a lot to me as I grew consuming footage and visuals of this aircraft as a child and dreaming to fly one in RL. Thanks you LN Team for the addon. Manish

My CPU is i5 3570 with 4GB DDR3 1333 RAM. OS is Win 8 Pro 64bit. Will I get 30fps in DCSW with the above GPU at medium settings ? Please advise. I am on a tight budget but want a good experience with the upcoming MiG-21bis addon.

At what range and altitude should the Shkval in Ka-50 start tracking moving targets. We found it does so very close to the target where the ka-50 is vulnerable to enemy fire..... M.

Thanks for your help. Because of the proxy, it would not allow me to make a purchase. Cart kept on showing zero qty. So bought BS2 v1.20 upgrade at DCS. Install was a no brainer. It just asked me for the BS2 key and I was on the way. The DCS Ka-50 is a very neat job. Just managed a circuit around Kobuletti. I managed to put her down in one piece at about 22kts. It will provide us a good learning curve for some days.... Manish
