MOZA force feedback base AB9 How to get started?
huey_gunner replied to hannibal's topic in Input Devices
Mine shows up twice in DCS control setting as well but worse in both versions of MSFS. Not only does it show two columns but it has no device name attached to it. Just a white blank space. At least DCS has a name AB9 to it. Moza is aware of this. -
ED should pull the update and reverse to the previous working patch.

Steam user. In VR mode. Cockpit and external aircraft look all blurry. Landscape terrain looks to be okay. Headset is HTC Vipe Pro 2.

I am currently using the LogiTech HOTAS x56 for all of my flying pleasures. The x56 is okay for fix wing but not so much for helicopters due to its center spring control. I have my eyes on the Thrustmaster Warthog stick (specifically made for A10C). Would the TM Warthog improve my helicopter control over the x56?

I figured out. Go to the CONTROL and select the aircraft module you want to reprogram. Clear the categories of default or whatever that is there. On each of the control category e.g. keyboard, controller-xbox, x56left or right (right click) and choose "load profile" Select the folder where the new control profile is. Double click on the folder. There you'll see the .lua files and choose or select the correct controller for your module. And save it to a new .lua file.

SA342 game variants control settings questions.

The chopper comes with co-pilot/pilot/gunner variants. I now have my flight controllers set for "pilot" profile. Is there a quick way to copy this profile (pilot) to other "co-pilot" or "gunner" variant without reinventing the wheel with the exception of a few control specifics for each different variant? For example I wat to retain all the existing settings for "pilot" profile to the new "gunner" profile and then start adding the new settings for "gunner" control specific and save it to a new "gunner" profile.

I am currently using Steam version of DCS World. Is there a reason why I should use an independent verion of DCS or DCS Openbeta? I do use a lot of free mod planes currently stored under my (Steam) Openbeta folder. And I currently do not have any DCS or DCS Openbeta (non-Steam) account installed.

I am new to this sim. I've previously installed several (free) mods into my DCS Openbeta folder. I am a bit confused as to where the coremodes and mods folder go where?- 53 replies

when I use training mode, my flight controller seems to work fine. Other than that, say when I fly missions. The only controls that work on j/s is just the basic pitch/roll and some basic camera views and that's just about it. When I went into the control tab I exclusively selected the xxx.diff.lua that I used for training but it did not do anything. I am at a loss!!! My other modules seems to work fine. I

I programm or bind my joy stick controller for each type of aircraft separately e.g. ov10.diff.lua, f18c.diff.lua etc. and all these flight controller profiles are stored in my InputUsersProfile folder and I do save a back up for all these files in another place. And let say when I flew the ov10 today I would load the ov10.diff.lua prior to take her to the air or ground. Somehow some of the keys I bound for certain functions are no longer there and yet the file seems to look intact in Windows environment which forced me to re-bind these keys again. This happens to me a lot when I added a new module or aircraft to the sim. I am very careful on how I load the correct .diff.lua profile for the correct aircraft in which I'm going to fly. What is wrong with what I'm doing here? Please help.

This is my new j/s from TB and I have found no function in the DCS Control section to bind my H2 (HAT2) button. All other buttons were bindable. Hint: for MSFS sim the H2 is the free look function (360 view panning). DCS does not recognize this button at all. I asked TB support about it who said it's a DCS issue since the key works fine with both MSFS and x-plane working fine. I am also a msfs2020 simmer and I can attest that the H2 work fine as a freelook function.

I cannot find a function for the H2 (Hat2 or free look) in DCS controller. Were you able to bind the H2 button for that function? BTW. The H2 in MSFS2020 is a free look at 360degree panning. I asked TB support and they were clueless.
