Thank you @Sahaj , just got my package here in Kyiv, Ukraine. It took only one week to ship it here. Special thanks for the very thoughtful and shockproof packaging. Will install all the goods today, I’m sure I will be absolutely satisfied with new smoothness and precision of Warthog joystick.

Feedback Thread Viggen Patch December 19th 2023
Ghostb3D replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
Hi guys! Haven’t checked the open beta version but in stable version landing gears of the aircraft are below the runway level. Thank you for such an awesome module. upd. Sorry I should’ve checked the last patch description -
I basically stopped when I was turning to the parking from the runway, but still no mission complete message. And after I quit the mission this time I've got 0 points. And as I was telling I have disabled and removed all the few mods I have, and even tried this time to play not on beta but on stable version of the game. I've added my mission track to the message. And it seems I would need to skip the mission and hope that is the only mission progress glitch I would encounter through this campaign. Mig-21_M01.trk

Thank you for your time. All the steps are done exactly like you described. And all the messages are displayed in order, but after the successful “by the book” landing and taxiing to the exactly same place from where I’ve started I am exiting the mission and have only 50 points. I don’t have any fancy mods installed, just the A-4 and civilian and military aircraft mods. I will try to remove them, then I’ll perform the “DCS Repair” procedure and try once more.

Same problem as two previous guys. Can’t get the “pass” score. Tried it four times, but still - nothing, only 50 points of score. And one more thing 30 sec after I have took off from the airfield I have got the bearing to target from the AWACS, even before I turn to the Gudauta WP1. @SorelRo I’m playing RU version OBT client.

Wait, so all the official manual that was released is those 1-15 chapters? For real?

Exactly. Thank you @DSplayer! @draconus I was talking about full time job, 8hrs a day like most of the 3D Artists/Texture artists are working normally. I had experience of working on the aircrafts and helicopters for the Warthunder (of course fidelity is lower but the pipelines are generally the same). I can believe in six to eight months on the whole cockpit works, including modeling (cleaning the photoscans, retopology etc), uv unwrapping, baking, texturing.

As a texture artist myself I’d say - it’s a lie. Having all the source materials it’s possible to finish in two weeks of 8hrs a day work.

Isn’t it’s prohibited to fire at bandits before Magic gives you permission to engage? Because that’s the main problem for me. I am allowed to shoot only after MiG-29 fires a missile at me.

Omg, man I can’t thank you enough! And what an idiot I am! All this time I thought that F10 menu is just another name of Communication menu. I’ll try tonight, but I’m sure you’re right on this matter. Thank you once more.

Hey there fellow pilots! I have a constant problem with the Mission 1 of the campaign. Precisely it’s very beginning. After take off I always got the “violation of ATC procedures” message. I’ve read the manual and have read all the answers above in this thread, I’ve checked multiple times the frequencies of the ATC in the F10 menu, and here’s my step by step procedure of the takeoff. 1. Ask ground personnel to connect me to the ground power source. 2. After positive on power connected I turn on Inverter and then turn on ARC-210. 3. Set ARC-210 frequency to 126.5AM and ask ATC to give me permission to start my engines. 4. Wait for positive response and start my APU - APU power switch - Left engine - Right engine. 5. Then turn off my APU power switch and the APU itself. 6. Ask ground crew to disconnect external power. After it is done I close my canopy and ask ATC to start my taxi. 7. In most of the cases they send me to the 13L runway. I start taxiing and stop before the threshold line on the taxiway just before the start of the runway itself. 8. Ask the ATC to give me permission to take off. After positive answer I get to the runway, spool my engines, take my run and take off. and at the very moment I cross the limits of an airfield I get the error message. I really don’t have a clue what’s going on, but there is few strange things I’d like to mention. First one is the fact that my name in briefing is Gunman, but when I speak with the ATC it’s Enfield. And second thing I saw in the YouTube video of some guy who played this campaign and when he asked ATC’s permission to taxi the answer from the tower was way more complex and detailed than the one I get. In his video tower officer told pilot to taxi to the runway 13L. First turn right and then take left on the E exit. I think that’s all information I can give, so now I humbly ask you to help me with this issue.

Problem with mapping racing pedals to the rudder axis
Ghostb3D replied to Ghostb3D's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
Well, it looks like this journey is over now. Thanks to @jonsky7 I made my Fanatec CSL Load cell pedals work as an aircraft rudder. Though it did required some specific moves to make it work. Basically I did everything like in the vJoy+UCR step by step guide provided by @jonsky7. But it didn’t work with vJoy 2.2.1 neither with 2.1.9, it required me to download version 2.1.8 of the vJoy software. And second required step - in the guide I initially used (the one by Dan Suzuki) it was stated that even Virtual Stick with one X axis would suffice. But in my case that hasn’t worked. I think that the problem is the first two axes of the virtual controller isn’t the sliders as required for rudder but a full stick axes (though it’s only my guess, nothing more). So I have to bind my pedals to the first slider axis - Z axis. Anyway I’m happy that everything worked out in the end and I’ll be able to master the Ka-50 and Mi-24 I have bought recently. Once again I want to thank everyone who tried to help me with this issue and especially Jon who haven’t gave up and helped me all the way. Thank you good sir!
