That's fine, nobody said it wasn't a complex task, but whats the reason for not implementing something in-between instead of just taking it away outright? The J-17 has had the ability to modify countermeasures in the special menu from day one yet how many years has the F-16 been out for now..? It's not a matter of being patient, (Even though you've literally had a decade to sort things like this out) It's a matter of paying a lot of money for a product and having things taken away from it rather than added, Important things if anybody has ever been on a PVP server... Would it have been that difficult to add in an interim solution on top of the effort and time spent in making the CMS .lua require an IC check?

What do you mean 'Feature' as it's some kind of thing we should be grateful for... it's an integral part of the module, it's not on me, a paying customer for an expensive module such as the F-16, to make my own server, or find a server that allows modded files or rely on the default settings that you can't alter in the cockpit. You've missed the point completely about ED having years to implement the data cartridge feature and spending time and effort actually limiting a modules capabilities while providing no interim alternative. People like you who make excuses for a company are part of the problem as to why things like this happen and basic bugs and issues never get fixed.

I'm pretty sure the J-17 has that function in the special menu, I doubt it'd be that hard to implement in the other modules given there's the DICE mod that can do it too.

So now that ED has taken away the important ability to be able to use custom programs for your CMS by adding IC checks to .lua files, are there any plans to be able to implement a system to be able to alter your CMS program for multiplayer? Being able to have a custom CMS program in PVP servers is a must and it's a poor effort to take away such a feature.

Imagine defending the company that takes your money and decides to spend time and effort to remove an important feature instead of just implementing it properly after the better part of a decade... pander a bit harder why don't you mate.

So instead of giving us an option to change CMS programs that will pass IC... You've just taken away the option entirely and told us to just wait until you get around to adding a feature that should've been available for every module on their release? How do you go backwards like this and still take peoples money? They've had years to add the data cartridge features though, don't defend laziness when it costs $130 (AUD) for a module.

Great mod, cheers for all the hard work. The 600 gallon fuel tanks don't seem to be recognized in the SMS - SJ page on the MFD and can't be jettisoned on the F16C's
