Because they'd rather kill off the modding community than embrace it. Easier just to blanket IC everything than come up with some kind of more robust anti-cheat system. -
I was expecting the FC3 2024 update to include NVG for at least the F-15C but apparently not. It's probably about time NVG's were included for FCS aircraft.

So far with my testing, my AI wingmen don't consider cruise missiles as bandits, and won't engage (In the F-16C) with AIM-120's or AIM-9's. Anyone discovered a trick to getting them to engage a KH-65?

At the moment i've no real plan for the whole thing, I just make a mission, put it out and start working on the next one. Just kind of making it up as I go along. I agree it'd be easier or maybe make more sense to have it as part of a campaign, but also people can just play which ones they want to play in this format. If they're reading the briefings as they play them in sequence they'll understand what's going on. I guess too that if this ended up being something like a 20 mission campaign then it would take a long long time to work on and finally release, and some people just seem to be enjoying playing it now. If there were some kind of mod/file repository like Steam Workshop where it could auto-update then I could just make it as a campaign and update it with missions as I go, but at the moment people would have to download a new campaign file every time I add a mission.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be a big update for Kola in June so that's just around the corner. Right now I'm just spawning units above the airfields that aren't finished, you can see where the airfields are supposed to be with the terrain at the moment.

A long shot but this and a Rivet Joint + a Compass Call. There's mods for them but they deserve to be in the core game.

Yeah that'll be a 10 year project, but i mean I'd pay for something like that if the list of units was extensive. Like Prowlers, Intruders, Compass Calls, Rivet Joints, JSTARS, Corsairs, a myriad of other Air, Naval, Ground units from NATO and the USSR/Russia.

And while I appreciate the things that DCS has produced and acknowledge the fact that not everyone can be pleased at once, I'll still absolutely voice my disapproval or approval of your business decisions because that's what I pay you people money for. Appreciate you Big N.
