Jester calls out no factor radar paints. Calling out Hawk radar hits behind the a/c out of the flight path of the f-4e gibberish. Is there any way to get Jester to focus on threats in the flight path?

I've been using the Instant Action scenarios for training and organization of my keyboard bindings. I'm happy with my progress right up to the point where I engage Jester to lock up the SU-24's. There are times when Jester will respond and locks up an unknown target and does the count-down to shoot. Other times, Jester responds "unable" or "no can do". I'm at the point where if I hear a "no can do" one more time I will just eject the bastard. Hahahaha. I am able to successfully use the AIM-7 outside of this particular Instant Action mission. If only Jester would say why he can't lock up just one SU-24 I'd be forever grateful. Any tips or tricks for AIM-7's in this mission would be much appreciated. Overall, this is the next level of enlightenment and it's all fun.

null Found it. I was using the white rotary button on the right side of the STECS. When I use a non-rotary button, the jettison works. Thanks!

Thank you - let me repeat, I can do this from the panel, exactly as you've described. It works without any problem and there is no confusion. My question is what are the exact buttons to be bound to make this happen. I've got Select to Stores bound, the "jettison" bound. When pressing Jettison, nothing happens via STECS buttons.

I can jettison stores from the panel, but can't seem to get buttons bound to do the trick with a VKB STECS Mini. Would really appreciate seeing your button bindings.

Logitech mouse works fine in Windows 11 not in DCS 2.9
BuzzJob replied to BuzzJob's topic in General Bugs
I should have been more clear about the mouse behavior. The mouse pointer is frozen to a position on the screen after VR mode initiates. Alt-Ctl-Del works via keyboard, as soon as the options screen appears the mouse pointer is back. I have to end DCS via task manager. Also, I am using a G2, and eagerly awaiting a PCL. In the DCS VR tab I unchecked the Enable Virtual Reality box, and the Logitech mouse works again, and VR still works, while the Enable is off. I am launching DCS via "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR This means VR mode works, regardless of the VR tab option being unchecked. I'm marking the suggestion as Solution, but I'd call it a "fantastic workaround" and I think something else is needed somewhere. I am going to try removing --force_enable_VR. -
I have used a basic Logitech M170 mouse with a wireless USB receiver in Win 11 since I acquired a MSI desktop with I9-14900, 4090, 64 gb RAM, 2 TB storage. The mouse works flawlessly in Window 11. But, it freezes in VR mode in version DCS 2.9.5.55918 MT. If I connect a wired mouse, DCS works. I have no idea how to trouble shoot this since Windows shows the Logitech mouse works like a champ.

AI ‘47’s pull away even when you turn off engine realism and run at WEP continuously. Do a Normandy airfield raid - when flight lead declares RTB you need a F-86 to keep up. I’d like to fly formation with the group on the trip home. -
Very interesting! Would love to see your settings. I am also using 60Hz w OXR/SteamVR and impressed with how smooth things are. I am not as far as you are.

Edit: replaced dll, restarted. The visual difference is there, so I am sure it’s running now. In standalone, CTRL-F2 works. It does not in Steam. I will check logs to validate. Second Edit: VISUALIZER (Main): LAUNCH IN VR OpenXR: Windows Mixed Reality I really appreciate the help and kudos to you for a brilliant enhancement!

I have a HP Reverb G2 on Windows 11. OXR runs DCS perfectly as a standalone. I am unable to get OXR to run via SteamVR. I have added the .DLL, changed SteamVR setttings- developer advanced to use OXR, and added the launch parameters via copy/paste that work in the standalone shortcut. I also verified that I am using the beta version via the version number in the lower left of the opening screen. net: I cannot get the G2 SteamVR to run OXR and I am out of luck. since this is a Beta is there someplace I can send logs? The OXR version is highly motivating to help get his going in Steam when it goes GA
