  1. Nope.
  2. Omg lol. Don't know why that should matter, but that's probably it
  3. I agree. It seems way too flimsy for an aircraft that's supposed to take off from damn near anywhere
  4. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. Something I'm missing?
  5. Same thing happened to me and my wingman multiple times today. No excursions, hot start, straight from the hanger to the runway, airborne by 150 knots, gear retracted immediately.
  6. Weird. I flew over a base, got hit a ton, nothing.
  7. The only time when I got them all 3 to retract is when I started to pull my stick back at 80
  8. Flew near an enemy base, got hit by a SAM, had no effect. Flew back over on purpose, hit by 30 SAM's, no damage.
  9. Main gear keeps breaking on take off. Yesterday flew all day without it happening, today mine, and my wingman's just kept having a strut stuck down on multiple takeoffs. Was on MP server.
  10. That's it. Thank you!
  11. Probably something silly, but I bound the speed brake in controls, but it does nothing. I don't see a speed brake extending. Am I missing something?
  12. first impression is very good, but a few things. The mirror reflection is very stuttering while the outside world is smooth. Remove the eye piece from the left eye in VR. It's causing a blurry vision because they don't overlap. It's set on right eye only, but you can see the side of the eye piece in the left eye and it doesn't match.
  13. Seperate module
  14. The two best modules in DCS of course. The Tomcat and Phantom.
  15. First of, make sure your plane is in the correct landing configuration. Speed brake out Gear down Flaps down DLC out All these things change the pitch of the aircraft, otherwise known as ANGLE OF ATTACK or AOA for short. Once that's all done, you want to get the AOA at the correct angle for landing. Which is 15 units of AOA. This is where the yellow donut comes in. When the aircraft is configured for landing, and the AOA is correctly set on the yellow donut, you are "ON SPEED". When that is achieved, you can adjust your glideslope simply by adjusting throttle. Less power makes you descend faster, more power less fast, and if you give it enough power you can fly level or even climb. All you have to do is set the Flight Path Vector (the circle with the 3 lines sticking out) on the runway, and adjust power to make a smooth landing. DLC helps with that too, but that's more for carrier landings where a more precise touchdown is needed. For now stick to runways.
  16. Heatblur has you covered. If you want a Navy aircraft, the Tomcat is the answer. Want to fly something more oriented towards ground attack, the Phantom and Viggen got you covered. No spAMRAAM, no FBW, the best looking models in the game, although the Viggen looks dated now. So depending on what you want, Tomcat or Phantom.
  17. Most of us feel (probably) that multi-player is what makes DCS what it is. Countless squadrons make their own missions, host servers, etc. But it baffles me that campaigns are single player only. It makes no sense. With more and more multi-crew aircraft coming every year, or the simple joy of flying with a human wingman, you can't do it in a story driven campaign. I for one, and my friends would all buy campaigns if we could fly together. A Tomcat campaign should be able to be flown with a human RIO, and same for the Phantom. Upcoming C-130 Campaigns should be able to be flown with 3 people. Apache and Hind Campaigns with a gunner, etc. Campaigns like the Blue Nosed Bastards should have an option to replace an AI wingman with a human. It would add more sales. Pilots buy campaigns, GIB's buy campaigns, fun for all. I recently watched a campaign reveal video that said it wasn't possible because of triggers and such. It works for multi-player mission makers, work around it. If a RIO needs to have voice lines, have an AI wingman's RIO say them instead of your RIO. Just an example. Anyway, I think an opportunity is missed here. I know I would buy campaigns if I could fly them with (a) friend(s).
  18. I'll take a look. I appreciate it.
  19. It is? How do you make the decks pitch? I have set weather to rain with 20-30 knot winds and it's smooth as silk.
  20. Are waves coming? Ships moving on them, pitching decks depending on the severity of the weather. Deck crew for non ED ships? Buyers of the SC should get crews on everything, including the Forrestal.
  21. I love how simplistic it seems. No endless MFD pages, just a few HUD modes. Start up, take off, shoot what you can, home in time for Borscht.
  22. Really need one in there. Not just for WWII, but for later scenarios too.
  23. Same, can't get her above 250, low or high altitude
