Is there a way to enable virtual super resolution for AMD in DCS? It doesn't do anything at the moment?

I think my shimmering is even worse than in the video. I watched a lot of videos and in some it's not there (probably DLAA) and in some it's terrible. Unfortunately we can't use DLAA with AMD. When I tried DLAA with 4070, there were ghosts behind the planes

I also tried Supersampling, but it's quite a performance killer. I need to test more. I think I can see some difference between MSAA 2x and 4x, but the worst is the edge simmering

MSAA is bad for me too I have a 9070XT, not sure if your solution will work for me. I'll give it a try. Even on the 9070xt, MSAA seems to work much worse than on the 4070 I had. The optimization is terrible for AMD GPUs. I would use TAA, the cockpit and scenery can be adjusted a little bit, but the disappearing planes in the distance are unacceptable.

Yes I tested on the same scenarios I'm using MSAA 4x but it still looks really jagged (shadows, cockpit and external view). It seems like the antialiasing isn't working properly, everything is shimmering and there are moirés. I don't know if it's just me but it seems like it looked better on my old PC. Maybe I just don't remember how it looked before. But it looked like this with the 5070Ti too, the stripes just disappeared

Sorry. It's really strange. I never had this until now with a new PC. Where I used an RX9070XT. When I changed the GPU to a 5070Ti, the stripes were gone, but the image still looked weird. I went back to the 9070XT and the stripes are back. I used an RTX 4070 in my old PC and had no problems

I also tried the GPU 5070Ti and with this card the stripes on the screen are not there. The problem probably only affects AMD cards. The stripes are on every map near the coast. At least for me.
